We think Miss Siri Shines Blue is about to pop in the coming days…

We have her all prepped for pups, she’s producing lots of milk and the nesting has commenced! Siri is just all snuggles and sweetness, but it’s amplified right now. 🩵

We do have a wait list of approved families for her pups. Once we have a head count of puppies, we will update if there are any remaining available.

In light of recent events of two unclaimed Shelties in our state of Virginia I wanted to make a post addressing one of our promises as a small breeding program.

While we are no longer an active breeding program we still back our promise to our clientele that if you ever, regardless of reason, need assistance in finding your canine a home, please reach out. We will not judge your reasoning and we will handle it with the utmost kindness and discretion.

Our litters were carefully thought out and planned. We understand life has challenges, changes, and circumstances beyond our control.

Please find comfort in knowing your anonymity is promised in the event you need help finding your Sheltie a new chapter in their life. The decision is difficult in itself, we’re here to offer help where we can.

Imma just plop my head on your fingers. Each Sheltie is special and Echo is no exception. She’s brilliant, sweet and extremely personable.

Out and about today!

We’re convinced this litter has taken to being water pups like their mom! Echo is still waiting for that special family to pick her before Kendra tries to keep her 😳! Puppies will be ready to head home as early as tomorrow. The time has just gone entirely too fast.

When people ask if our puppies are well socialized… we let the videos speak for themselves 😂 Our pups stay inside unless we take them out to enjoy the weather. Which means they get ALLL the snuggles, cuddles, pinched cheeks, etc. throughout the day! We do let them play around in the kitchen a few times a day, especially if the weather outside isn’t cooperative. It’s hard to believe this time next week they’ll be eight weeks old 🥺

Our Story

White Pine Shelties was founded in 2015 between a Mother and Daughter who wanted to provide quality Shelties in an area. As a Military Family we moved from Fort Meade Maryland to Fredericksburg, Virginia where they found their retirement home in an older plantation style home situated on nearly nine acres.

We focus on healthy/happy dogs that are great representations of the Shetland Sheepdog breed. Build, temperament and size. We have two health tested females between the two co-founders and one health tested Stud male.

We breed our females every other heat cycle. It gives them the chance to bounce back from their pregnancy. This system has worked wonderfully for our dogs and we continue to practice this “formula.”

All our Shelties puppies leave for their new homes with their first booster and de-wormed accordingly for their age. Several days worth of food, a CD containing all their pictures taken from day one, toys, treats and a gift card to Petsmart. They come with open registration and all necessary paperwork for AKC. Puppies are $900.00 and come with Full AKC Registration. Upon whelping if you would like to place a deposit on a puppy it is $200 Non-Refundable. The remaining balance of $700 will be due in the form of cash on your designated pick-up date. We do our best to make things easier for everyone, so we do our best to be accommodating. We don’t, however, ship our puppies. We encourage our families to come pick up their puppy at eight weeks so they can interact with not only their puppy, but with us and our dogs in the program.
