* we have always celebrated Lukes birthday on 6 Sep - 13 Sep. 6 Sep 2013 was the date that he was surrendered to Jean Wooley of Jefferson County Humane Society . It was a new beginning for Luke , she got him cleaned up pampered and vetted . I would meet him on the 13th. Every year on the 6th and until the 13th we would eat fun things to eat, go places , do things and visit his favorite people, go to the toy store and let him pick a new ball from a bucket of Kong Squeekee balls at the pet store.
