We are passionate about dogs. We are a small business so you can be sure your dog will get home from Free consultation provided before stay. "Absolutely!".

We provide

● Luxury kennels for small breed dogs
● Individually heated and well-lit kennels with a cushioned bed and headboard snug rooms
● Blankets & hot water bottle
● Half door on each kennel allowing your dog to run in/out as they please
● Secured alarmed gate and high fencing surrounds Posh Paws
● Security cameras allow us to periodically monitor the kennels & furry guests
● Supervised c

ommunal play area (depends on the owners consent and the sociability of the dogs)
● A walk for each dog at least once per day
● Flashing dog tag for each dog to ensure increased visibility
● Calming music (recommended by experts) is played throughout kennels to soothe and ease those anxious moments. The new Madra suites now open,crushed velvet theme with tv and there own seperate suites with a tv to watch.its all home from home,

prices vary with the snug rooms and the madra suites,please message us for more information. A visit preferable, but telephone consultation can be arranged. As we work from home we ask to respect our hours,if the dog cannot be picked up 6pm strict closing the dog will have to stay another night and this charge will be added on .thankyou

Our services are explained next:

1. Weekday Service

● Monday, Thursday and Friday
Drop-off: 9 - 10:00AM
Pick-up 5:00 - 6:00PM

● Tuesday and Wednesday
Drop-off 8:00 - 9:00AM
Pick-up 5:00 - 6:00PM

2. Weekend Boarding (Overnight stays only)

● Drop-off Saturday 8:30 - 9:00AM
● Pick-up Sunday..we open at 1pm and no earlier .pickup 1:00 - 4:00PM (If you cannot pick up before 4 your dog must stay Sunday night)

Prices vary on the length of your pets stay either for our beautiful snug rooms or madra suites For any special arrangements, please contact us for more information. Book early to avoid disappointment as we only have limited accommodation! wedding service is available. Nearby hotels only

We respond quickly to text messages/phonecalls sent during business hours: 9am - 5pm

Terms of Boarding

Under the control of dogs regulations act 1988 we do not accept certain breed...

*All dogs boarding must be sociable and to interact with other dogs*

Proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required prior to stay or on the day of arrival,

If not vaccinated for kennel cough, needs to be administered 10 days before your pets stay.this is a spray up the nose done by the vet,this needs to be done to stay at posh paws,
Dogs must have been treated for vet quality wormer, fleas & ticks. Dogs need not to be in season as this can cause aggressive behavior towards other dogs.This is a protection for all dogs involved. Your dogs care and safety is our priority. We are unable to accept dogs that are unsociable with other dogs and strangers/ aggressive behavior our destructive. Male dogs need to be neutered/females spayed.

🐶THE DOG EXPANSION FOOD TEST

Saw many posts of people doing this so we have always wanted to try it.

So we took few kibbles from our doggy accomadation.

Here's the results.

Some has really doubled in size others are better...

But think this is 1 kibble ,imagine a whole bowl of this in your dogs stomachs.

Try it out do the test...

This was about 2 1/2 hrs just bit after..

We have mentioned the problems in our video...

We used to feed Charlie red mills ..
We saw the issues appearing from 10yrs on..little did we know but he started having discomfort and pain in his abdominal area..
He actually stopped eating the kibble...what does that show.

What we know now ,we would of never fed him that crap..

We took carla off the royal canine also for many reasons..the change we saw was unbelievable for both of them.

Do the test ....see for yourselves...

If you love ur furbabies dont ignore what there eating. my dogs fine,no issues
Well deal with it when it comes ,then its too late...1000s spent at the vets,then panic happens....change things when there young..

Folks wee heads up.

As you know its the donegal rally weekend. Beautiful weather for it.

So we ask anyone picking up or dropping off there furbabies next few days please give yourselves extra time to be here for the arranged pickup or drop off time for your furbabies.

Not sure on the stages but lady has already informed that getting into letterkenny is crazy already with tail backs..

Buncrana usually bes Saturday but im not 100% sure,so anyone coming from derry/letterkenny/strabane areas..

Update stages are.

Friday: clonmany,malin head,carndonagh
Saturday: Newton
Sunday: carrigart area

Weekend furbabies 🥰🥰🥰

We had a small leak few months back in posh paws ..

so after 8 yrs of a bitamun corrugated tar type roof it gave way in certain areas..

We live in a very very rainy country, and Thursday passed ,was putting the doggies to bed, and we heard drips..

Low and behold water drips was coming through part of the roof inside..
Buckets out ...all dogs were looking out of there rooms at our stressed heads..lol

So we had to drill 3 holes in the roof to let the water drip through, otherwise part of the roof would have come through..

So Thursday was a late night and very little sleep with nerves../anxiety

Thank goodness it was ok but we got new pvc coated insulated tin ordered and my brilliant hubby worked hard friday evening and all today.

We got the old roof off and new roof on..

Just to get the holes sorted inside but its weight of our shoulders to get the building all reroofed and no worries of the rainy donegal....

Theres always something 🙄 lol.
