Sage Phoenyx Dragon Slayer and Bardic Kitty Sage Phoenyx was rescued from a garbage can at 4 weeks old in New Orleans, LA. Soon he found himself living with his new human and his 3 older 'sisters'.

When I was just 4 weeks old, I found myself rudely dumped in a garbage can by some cruel human. Luckily I was rescued & placed in a wonderfully loving home with my new Human and 3 older 'sisters'. While I was still really little my human noticed that I had an excessive amount of extra skin. Then my skin began tearing really easily. I was going to the vet to have my 'holes' patched all the time and

no one could figure out why I was always getting wounded. Then one day the holistic vet I see now, Dr Virgin, indicated that I might have Cutaneous Asthenia or the feline version of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I was tested but the tests were inconclusive. I have to go back in a few months for another test. In the meantime, my human is researching and preparing for a positive diagnosis.
