"We rescued Mira at the end of December 2023, right after Christmas. She is the sweetest girl!! She was a little shy when we brought her home, but has quickly become comfortable here along with her two cat siblings, Avatar & Pandora. Mira loves to play, run, and enjoy the great outdoors. She loves taking naps on the guest bed, peanut butter, treats & chewing some things she shouldn’t, even though she has a plethora of toys!! She also enjoys chest/belly rubs and butt scratches. We are all so happy she’s here and we enjoy playing with her and laughing at her silliness!!

Hello future family! My name is Willow, I'm a 2-year old Cane Corso and while you already can tell I weigh a lot, I'll tell you just how much. I'm at about 125 lbs. (give or take a few).

Looking for a gentle giant with a heart as big as her paws? 🐾❤️ Well, you've found her. I’m like a bodyguard, best friend, and professional couch potato all rolled into one. 🏆
I am:

✅ Crate-trained

✅ Leash-trained

❓ Dog-selective (I might be open to meeting some calm canines)

🤷‍♀️ Unknown with cats and kids but can be tested

I’m a big girl with a personality to match. I bring a lot to the table, the only thing I maybe can't do is fit on your lap.😅 I might have the whole "intimidating look" thing down but spoiler alert: I'm really just a total softie who melts when you give me a little ear scratch.

It takes a lot of energy for a girl like me to move around. I'm more into small spurts of fun, followed by chilling with my people 😎 so high energy homes just aren't my thing. Have a dog who wants to romp? Nah. Kids running rampant around your house? Pass.

I'm really just looking for a family who understands that a queen 👑 like me deserves respect, love and maybe a few extra treats here and there. I paid my dues as a puppy mill mama and I'm ready for the high life. I might take up a little more space, but overall I'm a lowkey buddy who doesn't need much. 😊

"We had been looking for years for the right rescue for our family and she stole our hearts from day 1. We chose her name because of it being a family name + Dolly P’s life story and continued grace she brings to healing and humanity. As a former mill Mom, we really didn't know what to expect. She was so scared when we first got her, had some ailments of ear infections and newly spayed. She has rapidly become the love of our lives. From her newly found belly rubs, zoomies, following us around and overall adorable cuddles. She's made us each grateful we can show her love reframe her previous life of trauma. Thanks to HAL, we found the best dog on the planet (we may be slightly biased)."

👋 Hey there, Jewel here, kicking off 2025 with my very own list of what’s in (me, obviously) and what’s out.

But first things first, lemme tell you a bit about myself, starting with the most important detail: I’m the star of the show. A total gem, some might say a jewel. 💎😉 Whether it’s turning heads on walks or cuddling up on the couch, I know how to make an impression. At 2 years old and 50 pounds, I’m basically the ideal size for couch snuggles and lap naps (or at least, *I* think I am).

Now, let’s talk toys. I LOVE them. Like, “hoard them like a dragon with treasure” love them. If you’ve got a basket of toys, I’ll make it my life’s mission to strew them across your living room one by one. But I guarantee you, I'll look really cute doing it!

I’m also pretty smart - “will work for treats” smart. As in, I know some commands and am always happy to learn more, as long as there’s a snack involved. Did I mention I’m very treat-motivated? Because I am. Snacks are life. 🤤🍖

But my favorite thing in the whole world? People. I love all the people. Big ones, medium ones (maybe not small ones, to avoid any accidental smooshing), quiet ones, loud ones - you get the point. I just want to be everyone’s best friend. Honestly, if a stranger were to so much as jingle their car keys, I’d probably climb in like, “Where are we going new best friend? Starbucks for pup cups? The park? Oh, oh, a toy store?!!" 🤷‍♀️🚗
