If you loved Daisy, please make a donation of any size on Arizona Gives Day - April 2, or any day to benefit Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption (SA Greys). Because of their dedication to finding forever homes for former racing greyhounds, Daisy came into my life. https://www.azgives.org/sagreyhoundadoption

Two years ago today (9/15/20) the party animal in my life went to the Rainbow Bridge. Daisy was 12 years old, resilient, a brood mama/17 offspring/too many, happy, funny, medically compromised and my 5th greyhound. She made me laugh everyday and loved puppacino. When she saw the can come out of the refrigerator or heard the whoosh, she was on it. Fond memories forever.

Driving Miss Daisy

Hello people. My name is Daisy. They (my person Karyn) call me Daisy Face. She sings, “Daisy Face, you’ve got the cutest little Daisy Face.” I forget the rest of the song.

I ran for my life in Tucson and then went back to the breeding farm somewhere in Kansas or Oklahoma where I had 17 or 23 puppies. Either way, too many.

Then I came back to Tucson with some other brood mamas and I was the last one to get adopted. I have lots of health problems. Karyn has spent thousands of dollars fixing me. I’m so worth it.

My best friend Girlfriend greyhound (we often put our heads on the same pillow) went to the Rainbow Bridge in April 2020. We miss her. Now I am an only dog and Karyn takes me places. I like to run around our second yard; eat my dust you neighbors. I like to go for walks and to Dog Days of Summer at Tucson Botanical Gardens. I eat yummy food and meet new people who can’t get over how beautiful and soft I am. I am many things but not humble.
