This month, we're highlighting the amazing work at a local rescue . Their mission is:

"We partner with two Texas shelters, South Carolina, and California. We believe every animal deserves a chance and work hard to ensure they do every month; we focus on helping shelters facing overcrowding and shelters that have animals lined up for euthanasia. Our hearts are strong for the mama dogs/cats and bully breeds, but we accept all breeds and ages into our rescue as long as a foster is lined up here in NYS, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania"

We find it very important to be fully transparent with our donation amounts and donation partners, unlike with some larger companies that use the "we donate" as a marketing ploy without giving any details to back up the claims.

This month, we're highlighting the amazing work at a local rescue . Posh Pets Rescue's mission & vision is:

"Our mission is to rescue animals in need, temporarily care for them in our facilities or dedicated foster network, and find them loving adoption matches. Since 2006 Posh Pets Rescue, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been dedicated to the rescue and placement of homeless animals into loving homes. We believe that with the right match and support every pet and every pet parent can be Posh! Posh Pets is empowered by our network of caring foster homes, as well as our No-Kill shelter in Long Island and our Westchester adoption center. In addition, we host off-site adoption events at multiple New York locations through the use of our mobile adoption vehicle."

We're still figuring details out, such as what % of our profits we will donate. For this month at least, we have not made any sort of profit, but thought it was important to get the program going monthly. We know that $50 for a business does not sound like a lot, but we can assure you that as a small family business with little sales this is a large amount for us. We find it very important to be fully transparent with our donation amounts and donation partners, unlike with some larger companies that use the "we donate" as a marketing ploy without giving any details to back up the claims.

As dog owners and product design engineers, we at RemieDog think the dog market needs a little shake-up. Follow us as we design new and improved products for the modern day dog parents.

Here's the situation that led us to create RemieDog in our 1 bedroom Manhattan apartment. We designed and prototyped our first product fully in house with our 3D printer, laptop, CAD software and about a dozen years of product design engineering experience. We launched a Kickstarter, which failed, but the support from our IG community fueled us to dig in deep and fund the project - custom injection molds are expensive! We went through 30+ iterations of the design, each of which was influenced by feedback from our almost 100 beta testers who all took a chance to try out some 3D printed prototypes from a company they never heard of ♥️♥️. We started shipping our final production version in November, just 6 months after starting the design.
