Well good news for Nowda! He had his appointment with the orthopedic surgeon today and it seems that the instability in his knee is likely due to breaking through the scar tissue that was supporting the joint (his knee). So he needs to rest and start rehab, but we are anticipating his body generating new scar tissue to stabilize the joint and he shouldn’t need another surgery. And more good news- he’s had arthritis in that joint for years, but it didn’t worsen in the last 3 years since his original TPLO x-rays!🙏🏼 Thankful that it isn’t progressing very quickly. Poor guy is ready to resume activity but we’ll get there soon.

Taking my reactive dog to the vet doesn’t get easier, but at least I know my gear is secure and the handle is comfortable☺️😆

Poor Nowda has injured his knee AGAIN. The vet referred us to his orthopedic surgeon and we’ll find out next week if it’s something to do with his TPLO implant, his meniscus, or something else😅

I designed this for a friend (she picked the colors😍), and I’m in love with it(!!) so it’s now listed on the site! It’s a second version of a handle collar but it has the 1” buckle (so narrower than the other option I make) and it has the grippy style handle, which can rotate a little bit too. Let me know what you think in the comments!
