Almost Home Animal Sanctuary Almost Home Animal Sanctuary is located in Limeklin PA. It is a 501c3 private rescue group with a love for every type of Mastiff.

Although we specialize in Mastiffs, we will work with any breed of dog. Check our links for adoptable dogs and cats too. WHY ADOPT FROM ALMOST HOME ANIMAL SANCTUARY? By providing each animal with an Almost Home, we care for each pet in a home environment. We feel that this benefits the foster pets and potential forever homes. Each animal receives one-on-one attention and affection, while we get to observe the pets in a true household. We are therefore able to address and report real-life issues.

Meet Apollo (grey male) and Cleo (black female)! This two long hair beauties came into AHAS and are looking for their forever homes. They are roughly 5 years old and used to dogs and cats. Apollo is very social and Cleo is a bit more shy. DO NOT HAVE TO GO TOGETHER.

James will give him the best life possible until Eddy tells him it’s time…..but we sure to hope they have plenty of quality time together! Since James adopted Eddy from AHAS, he has become his best buddy. Sending both of them best wishes and big hugs. ❤️

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SPROESSERS ON OFFICIALLY ADDING ROCCO TO THEIR FAMILY. Rocco came to us as a young, rambunctious puppy and needed some work adjusting into his new home. The Sproessers have all worked so diligently with Rocco to teach him manners on leash and around the house. I have been so impressed by their commitment, especially when they have not had a dog before. It’s a beautiful process to watch a family learn how to integrate a dog into their lives in such a dedicated and successful way! It’s been a pleasure to help them and Rocco is one lucky pup to be the recipient of their hard work! Wishing them all the very best! 🐶🐾🐶

Please join AHAS in sending condolences to the Jenkins Family for the loss of Hygge, their precious persian. Hygge was such a special boy who got along with everyone…..the other kitties, dogs, and kids. He was the ideal Persian- sweet disposition, laid back personality, friendly, soft, and handsome. Truly a doll! We never get enough time with our furry family members, and this is no exception. Hygge lived a wonderful life and leaves behind countless beautiful memories. Sending his family our deepest sympathies. Thank you for giving Hygge such a very good life. 💔

Henry at top speed. 💨 The fastest, yet largest, St Bernard I’ve ever encountered! He has broken all weight/speed/endurance records at AHAS. 🏆
