If only I could feel her soft fur one more time...that thought has gone thru my head and heart what feels like a zillion times since Graycee left us. Maybe I'll get that chance again some day. Feeling a little down today...

There isn't a day that goes by that we don't still think of Graycee, but this time of the year we think of her even more. Next week will be two years ago since we had to say goodbye to our little girl. Graycee loved Christmas time; there were ornaments to play with (her favorite were the metal silver balls), a tree to hide under, a train to watch, presents to chew on and later open. And the very best, boxes to explore! Happy Holidays to all!

Happy Got Graycee Day! February 15, 2010, 13 years ago, was such a special day. Graycee had been living out in the country, at my parents home, using the doggie door into the garage to get out of the cold and to stay away from the coyotes. No one was living in the house - my Dad had died 4 months previously and my Mom had moved into a nursing home. We hadn't had a pet in something like 20 years. So taking on the responsibility of one was a big deal for us. But Graycee needed a home and we could give her that, and besides, she was just so darn cute. So I brought her home that day. BEST. DECISION. EVER!!! It was the start of 12 wonderful years with her. While it still hurts that she is gone, she lives on in our hearts. She was our baby girl!

Tomorrow will be one year since we had to say goodbye to our little girl, our Graycee. We still miss her so very much. There isn't a day that goes by that something doesn't remind us of her; her sweetness, her sassiness, her loveable-ness. 🐾❤️🐈

We still miss her Every Single Day We still see her everywhere. Here she is exploring her new backyard in the summer of 2019, shortly after we moved.
