We are announcing a herd reduction due to our retirement!
We are offering several very nice, and rare bloodlines in both mares, and stallions, c**ts and fillies. We also have some foals that are not yet spoken for coming soon.
Our bloodlines are rare and come from the older and first breeders of the Pure Falabellas such as Castlerock, Painted Acres, SOBR, Land of Little Horses, Angelica Falabellas bred horses (AF) and many others.
Some rare lines much sought after such as Zumbador, El Rey, Sreenans, Benview, and others are here on our farm.

This tiny near leopard filly is doing very well and is precious. She's a keeper for us.

Welcome tiny Pow Wow! this tiny boy arrived the other day and I just loved how he got up, stretched and posed for this photo before nursing on his dam, at just a few hours old.
Dam is Ravenwood Appsalute, a red leopard champion mare, and sire is Little America's My Holy Holy, a 28" black snowcap.
This wee one is going to be no bigger than 27" tall.!He is a sweet and inquisitive little guy. Love him!

So proud of one of our home grown boy's practicing at his very first show!
Hickory Springs Strawberry Moon Dance (born on that special full moon) is such a good boy and so well behaved for his very first time at the show grounds.
His trainer, Kristen and owner, Vicky were so proud of him.
Some guy went up to Vicky at the show and offered to buy him right then and there, and Vicky's reply, "NO WAY!"
Can't wait to see this youngster win show after show with his trainer and owner!
With more time and experience Moon will shine, no pun intended!
Moon only had one month at the trainer's and here he is getting some training with all that goes on at show... Good boy Moon. 🙂

Goldie is a proven broodmare having had one beautiful filly for us and is currently open. O ,she can go in any direction and would look lovely driving. She is a B sized mare and simply stunning with her gold shimmering coat.
Ramsey is a coming three year old and is a beautiful splash pinto champagne boy. He can go in any direction including breeding. We imported him from his breeder in Canada. Ramsey is smaller than Goldie around 33"-34" tall.

Our stallion, Ferrari enjoys his good friend (a young doe )who visits him daily.
I watched as she came up looking for dropped apples off the tree and he came out from his run-in shed to say hi.
It's cute how they hang out together daily.

Two of our young stallion c**ts , Ramsey (gold champagne splash) and Cinco (bay pintalooosa,black spots, splash w blue eyes) out and about in the snow.
The boys and foals really love being out in it...mares not so much. They are much smarter seeking out their run in sheds or down hill from the winds.

Here at Hickory Springs we are proud owners of our continued line of the legendary imported (in utero) stallion, El Rey Falabella.
Several generations of his get remain right here on our farm while we have shared and sold some of his offspring to others such as: Hickory Springs Palladium, Tavish, Heartbreaker Cecilia, La Reina del Rey, and Nieto del Rey.
El Rey's daughter Susietta remains here with us and her offspring include Rosa Rey, Nieto del Rey and Ferrari's Enzo. Enzo's sire, Hickory Springs Ferrari Falabella our head herd sire is a great grandson of El Rey. Enzo's daughter named Aprile born this year resides in Florida along with Enzo and their new family.
The next generation of El Rey's line are here to stay and they are Pink and Legacy!
Enjoy the photos of this wonderful stallion's offspring. He has made a world of difference in our breeding program.

We are STILL waiting on a handful of mares who are quite large to foal! This group is one that we purchased due to the former owner retiring and the stud was in with the mares in the pasture thru fall last year.
Hopefully they will deliver before the snow falls.
All are bred to our stallion, Bodero who is a loud black leopard...come on spotted babies!

Just love this mother/daughter photo. The dam is Ravenwood Appsalute and the filly is Hickory Springs Val Freyja.
Appsalute has given us a leopard tiny filly (sire is Cash the Check), a stunning bay fewspot c**t (sire is our Ferrari) and this lovely extended blanket appaloosa (sire is Ash Creek Blurred Lines)!
Ravenwood was one of the best decisions we made to enhance our breeding program. All three of her foals have been retained.

I just love my boy, Ferrari! He makes the nicest foals for us. He produces every color under the sun!
Here are some of them from the past and present. We are awaiting his last foal to be born anytime now for 2021 out of Hickory Springs Powder Puff Magnolia.

Just got an update that not only did Hickory Springs PF Flyer get three kids to love on him, he also got three maes bred for 2022!
Fingers crossed they get some beautiful tiny foals. Here are some photos of Flyer who is a silver dapple bred pintaloosa.
So happy he is doing well and his family just love him!
