Working on "Look at That!" with Addy the Old English Sheepadoodle. This can be a super helpful exercise for dogs who are easily distracted by things their environment--other dogs, cars, squirrels, etc.

The sidewalks of Baltimore being what they are, I’ve decided to introduce Amber to an anti-scavenging muzzle. My goal is to make this as positive and non-aversive for her as possible, and I’ll be showing you my progress here! The first step is simply to form a positive association with the presence of the muzzle in her face: I touch her face with it, click, and treat. That’s all, for now!
