Allergic Rescuers KL We are a group of friends who rescue, foster, and TNR strays in Kuala Lumpur, MY. We are not a shelter.

We are NOT a shelter, just a group of like-minded friends who share a mission to help street cats that we come across in our daily lives. We juggle full-time jobs and family commitments together with our rescue work. As such, we are not at liberty to take on rescue requests from the public. What we CAN do is share information and guide you HOW to help a cat in need. It takes a village to help our

strays, not just a few individuals. YOU can do your part as well :) Imagine how many more stray cats we can help if everyone plays their part.

Candy Cane would like to invite you to slow down for a second. Just a little pause. Just the two of you.

She is that kind of kitten. Gentle, sweet and happy. She will not run straight into your arms, but she will stay close by, watching you with those big eyes, waiting for the right moment to come closer. And if you happen to have a churu, that might be her favorite love language.

She and her sister were found in a carpark, trying to make it on their own. A kind person had been feeding them, but when she saw they were getting worse instead of better, she brought them to the vet and asked for help. That is how they came into our care.

Since then, Candy Cane has grown into a lovely kitten who is easy to love. She is about 3 months old, deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, and negative for FIV and FeLV. She is ready for her forever home, either with her sister Sugar Cookie or into a home with another friendly cat.

If you’re looking for a soft little kitty to nap with, snack with, and quietly fall in love with, send us a message. Candy Cane will be waiting right here, just in case you need another break.

Sometimes all it takes is a small pause. Just one quiet moment in the middle of a busy scroll. And if you’re reading this, maybe Cocoa was able to give you that. ☺️

Cocoa was rescued as a baby, along with his two sisters, after their mother suddenly didn’t come back. A kind student noticed them and stepped in. She cared for them as best as she could, making sure they were safe, fed, and loved. When her time in KL ended, she reached out for help. That’s when the little trio came into our care.

Since then, Cocoa has grown into the most curious little explorer. Every new toy gets inspected. Every unfamiliar guest gets a confident sniff. He is outgoing, playful, and full of personality. The kind of kitten who brings joy to any room just by being in it.

Cocoa is around 5 months old. He has been deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV. He is currently in foster care with his sister Cinnamon and is available for adoption either as a pair with her or into a home with another friendly cat.

Sugar Cookie is definitely the kind of kitten who believes it never hurts to ask. So she sat down, looked up with those big golden eyes, and gave it a try.

Sugar Cookie is small. But no one told her that. She moves like gravity is optional. Like the floor is lava. Like every chair, table, and shoulder is just part of her personal obstacle course. She’ll land on your arm before you even know she jumped. And when she wants your attention? She’s already halfway there.

Life with her is many things. Mostly sweet, funny, and full of little surprises. She’s the kind of kitten who turns every ordinary moment into a reason to laugh. But here’s the thing. For all her spark, she’s still waiting. Still hoping someone out there sees the joy she brings and says, yes, that one. I’ll take her home.

Sugar Cookie is around 3 months old, deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, and ready to bring her charm to a forever home. She can be adopted into a home with another friendly cat or together with her sweet sister Candy Cane.

When we say we've been waiting for Honeybun's adoption, we mean it! It's been more than two years since we first met Honeybun in a parking lot at a coffee shop- she even tried to get into our teammate's car 😹 even then, Honeybun wasn't shy about asking for what she wanted.

Honeybun spent a little over a year with her wonderful foster mom, Kenai, who gave her security and allll the attention a solo queen deserves. Thank you Kenai for taking the best care of Honeybun 🧡

Earlier this year, Honeybun caught the eye of a who couldn't stop thinking about this gorgeous tabby with ginormous amber eyes, but she wasn't quite sure if the timing was right. But then...she fostered the Bean Sprouts and realized that Honeybun was the cat for her (three boy kittens will do that to you 😹)

Everything fell into place and Honeybun arrived at her forever home on New Year's Eve 🥹 She quickly settled in and found her favorite places- perching on the back of the sofa, watching the neighborhood from the window and welcoming her mom home after work.

Thank you Jo for considering a cat who was often overlooked and accepting her for who she is! We couldn't feel more appreciative of the home and love you give Honeybun. 🧡

Enoki is still very small, but she already knows how to make people fall in love. 🥹

She was first seen alone in a parking lot by two of our adopters. When they came back with treats to help her, she had disappeared. It took them a while to realise she had climbed into the engine of a parked car. A tube of churu and a lot of gentle coaxing later, she finally came back out.

What they found was heartbreaking. She weighed barely 500 grams. Her little body was all bones and wide, searching eyes. There was a painful abscess on her head that looked like an animal bite. And still, she did not panic. She just looked at them as if trying to decide whether the world might finally be a little kind.

Today she is safe and thriving. Enoki is cuddly, curious, and affectionate in the softest way. She follows her favourite people from room to room just to make sure they are still nearby. Sometimes she just stares at you with her huge eyes and curls up next to you as if it is the only place she wants to be.

She is now around 3 months old, dewormed deflead, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She would do best in a home with another cat.

If you are looking for a kitten who naps beside you, makes you smile with her gentle weirdness, and loves you with her whole tiny heart, Enoki might be the one.

2026 is already here. New calendars, new goals, new everything. But for these cats…not much has changed.

They’re still waiting. Still watching others get chosen. Still hoping that maybe this year, someone will finally stop scrolling and say, “That one. I want that one.”

There’s nothing wrong with them. They’re sweet, funny, loving…and ready. They just haven’t met their person yet.

Oops was rescued from the neighborhood of one of our team members. At first, he wasn’t quite sure what to make of the strange humans who suddenly wanted to help him. For a day or two, he kept a low profile and chose the safest hiding spot he could find…behind the toilet. He didn’t hiss or panic. He just watched. As if trying to figure out whether this new life could actually be safe.

Fast forward a few months and Oops has become the kind of kitten who makes your heart melt with a single look. He’s still gentle and thoughtful, but these days he wears his affection on his sleeve. He loves people, he loves cats, and he loves being close. He’ll look at you with those big golden eyes like you’re the most wonderful thing he’s ever seen…and if you’re not careful, you’ll start to believe it too.

Although he’s on the smaller side, Oops carries himself with surprising confidence. He’s not pushy or bossy, just naturally at ease. That might be why he gets along with every cat he meets. He doesn’t stir up trouble. He just fits in, like a missing puzzle piece no one realised they needed.

Oops is now 6 months old, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He would love to be adopted into a home with another friendly cat, or together with his foster buddy Okra.

Oops’ mum Whoops has been spayed and returned to her neighborhood, and her youngest kitten — a few months younger than Oops — is now safe in our care too. His name is Oof, and we’ll be introducing him soon.
