Allergic Rescuers KL We are a group of friends who rescue, foster, and TNR strays in Kuala Lumpur, MY. We are not a shelter.

We are NOT a shelter, just a group of like-minded friends who share a mission to help street cats that we come across in our daily lives. We juggle full-time jobs and family commitments together with our rescue work. As such, we are not at liberty to take on rescue requests from the public. What we CAN do is share information and guide you HOW to help a cat in need. It takes a village to help our

strays, not just a few individuals. YOU can do your part as well :) Imagine how many more stray cats we can help if everyone plays their part.

It truly takes a village to rescue cats- Baby Brinjal is proof of that. From being rescued from the middle of the road by a kind passerby, to her incredible vet team (you know who you are!) who brought her back to life, and all of the donations you were all so generous to donate to a tiny kitten desperately in need. A kitten you had never met but invested in so readily- we are truly so grateful and appreciative. Baby Brinjal wouldn't have made it without a kind, selfless community. 🧡

Please swipe to see Brinjal's final bill- you all raised over 8000rm to help her. That's incredible! This covered all her emergency care for a gut infection that required intensive support and even a blood transfusion. She was transfused with 3ml of Bagel's blood (he's an absolute legend!) and bounced back incredibly fast. Kittens' superpower is their resilience! Brinjal knew she has so much to look forward to in her life and now, because of you, she can. đŸ„č

Y'all were so incredibly generous that you not only fully paid for Brinjal's emergency care, but also Apam Balik's care AND Coco and Mac's recent dental surgeries. Would you stop for a kitten wandering your neighborhood, unsure if anyone would ever notice him? That’s exactly how Okra’s story began. One of our teammates spotted him lingering on the street - alone, cautious, and almost invisible to the world around him. She asked around, hoping someone would say, “Yes, he belongs to us,” but no one did. Okra was truly on his own. And so, a choice was made: he was scooped up and brought into safety, given a chance at a new beginning.

At first, Okra didn’t know what to think of this sudden change. Being a stray kitten had taught him to be careful, to watch the world from a distance. But within hours of being in a safe foster home, his fear began to fade. He curled up close, soft and trusting, and showed us who he really is. Beneath the wary kitten was a gentle, affectionate kitty who simply wanted love.

Okra has blossomed into a sweet and easygoing little boy. He is curious without being reckless, and affectionate in the softest, most heart-melting ways. He gets along beautifully with his foster kitten buddies and would thrive in a home where he has a cat friend to keep him company.

Okra is 3 months old and has already been dewormed, deflead, and vaccinated. He has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, so he’s healthy and ready for adoption. He can be adopted together with one of his foster kitten friends, or into a home with a friendly resident cat who will welcome him.

Okra doesn’t ask for much

Firestorm and Derecho have been waiting their whole little lives for someone to see them. Not one message. Not one inquiry. And yet, we can’t understand why.

They were rescued as tiny kittens from a school auditorium, huddled together with their siblings. At first, they were so small they needed to be bottle-fed. But they were strong and determined, eating with gusto and growing into healthy, happy boys. Two of their siblings were quickly adopted, finding families to call their own. But Firestorm and Derecho are still here.

They are now 6 months old - full of life, playful, affectionate, and incredibly sweet. They love to wrestle, explore, and then curl up for cuddles. They are the kind of kittens who follow you with wide eyes, who are always curious, who melt into your arms when held. And yet somehow, they’ve been overlooked.

Sometimes it’s just timing. Sometimes it’s because they don’t “stand out” in photos. But none of that changes who they are: two wonderful, loving kittens who are simply waiting for someone to give them a chance. And we know that the moment someone does, they’ll fall head over heels in love.

Firestorm and Derecho are dewormed, vaccinated, neutered, and FIV/FeLV negative. They can be adopted together or into a home with another friendly cat.

Hiding, waiting, hoping. That’s what Sriracha and Tapatio have been doing all this time. But once you notice them, you’ll see what we’ve known all along: they are two of the sweetest boys you could ever meet.

When Sriracha and Tapatio first came into our care, they were two little spicy boys (that’s how they got their names đŸŒ¶ïž). It took time, patience, and quite a few treats for them to soften. But today they have bloomed into the kindest, most gentle companions you could imagine.

Tapatio is the quiet, affectionate type. He follows you from room to room, always close by, as if he has been part of your home forever. Sriracha is playful and cheerful, soaking up every bit of love and attention he can get. Together, they balance each other perfectly.

Now 1 year old, both boys are neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. They can be adopted together as the best duo or separately into homes with another friendly cat.

They may not be tiny kittens anymore, and they may not be the first ones to catch your eye in a crowd. But if you are looking for the sweetest boys, they are right here. đŸ„č

Every night before they curl up to sleep, Lulu and Rocco wonder the same thing: “Maybe tomorrow will be different. Maybe tomorrow, someone will finally see us.”Days slipped into weeks, weeks into months. And still, no one ever asked about them. Not once.

It’s not because they’re shy, or difficult, or hard to love. The truth is much simpler
they’ve just been overlooked. Quietly waiting in foster care, while kittens around them found homes one after another.

Lulu and Rocco were rescued as kittens, barely nine weeks old. They grew up safe, surrounded by kindness, but always waiting for that one thing they couldn’t be given: a forever family.

Today they are 4 years old. That means they have spent over 1,400 days hoping someone would finally notice them. Rocco is affectionate and goofy, always ready to fill a room with warmth and laughter. Lulu is clever and watchful, the kind of cat who will sit beside you in quiet moments and then surprise you with a gentle nuzzle. Together, they’re a perfect balance of joy and comfort.

Both are dewormed, vaccinated, neutered/spayed, and FIV/FeLV negative. They are ready for the home they’ve been waiting for all their lives. Maybe, just maybe, that home is with you.

Luci’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She was rescued as a tiny abandoned kitten at Nexus, sick with severe flu and struggling to survive. In her early months, she almost lost her life to drug toxicity, and battled a weak immune system.

While with her wonderful foster, she developed what seemed like a minor eye infection. She was brought to the vet the very next day, but despite immediate care, the infection escalated so fast that within five days her eye had ruptured and needed to be removed. To this day, even our vet team has not been able to pinpoint the exact cause.

So before she was even six months old, this brave little warrior had already survived more challenges than most animals face in a lifetime. Yet despite her strength and resilience, Luci had no adoption enquiries for the longest time.

But as it turns out, fate was simply waiting for the perfect match. Her new mom first noticed Luci because she had one eye, it reminded her of her grandfather, who also had one eye. 💕

Luci is now part of a loving home with her adopter and an 8-year-old older brother cat who had never had a sibling before. We were initially nervous, since he hadn’t gotten along with other cats in the past, and the age and energy difference could have been a challenge. But sometimes, it’s all about energy, and from the start, we felt Lucy was meant to have a big brother to look up to and her energy was a good fit.

Happily, we were right! Witnessing their integration over weeks was one of the most joyful experiences, and they are now thriving together. Luci officially has her forever family and a big brother by her side!

And here’s another sweet part: Luci chose her family. At the meet-and-greet she went straight to her adopter, and on home trial day she walked right into the crate herself, ready to go to her home. It was meant to be


We couldn’t be happier for Luci and her new family. Thank you to everyone who supported her journey, she is living proof that even after the toughest battles, love always finds its way. ❀
