Allergic Rescuers KL We are a group of friends who rescue, foster, and TNR strays in Kuala Lumpur, MY. We juggle full-time jobs and family commitments together with our rescue work.

We are NOT a shelter, just a group of like-minded friends who share a mission to help street cats that we come across in our daily lives. As such, we are not at liberty to take on rescue requests from the public. What we CAN do is share information and guide you HOW to help a cat in need. It takes a village to help our strays, not just a few individuals. YOU can do your part as well :) Imagine how many more stray cats we can help if everyone plays their part.

"Hi, remember me? Ginger Rogers! I'm officially adopted!"

We're so happy to announce that Ginger has passed her home trial and officially found her forever home. đŸ„°

Ginger came to us in November after recovering from the flu, fungus and a dog bite. Given some tender love and care, she blossomed into a sweet, independent teenager who knew she was destined to be a solo queen. Fostered first by and then (thank you Alya for your amazing care!), Ginger caught the eye of Boo Yew, Seline and their sweet daughter, who were looking to adopt their first cat. đŸ˜»

Ginger now enjoys all the attention, being hand fed treats and lounging on a cat-proofed balcony. Those worries of her kittenhood? All gone. What a difference a loving family makes!

Thank you to , and their daughter for giving a rescue cat a chance and allowing Ginger the time to decompress and feel comfortable in her home. 🧡 You've changed Ginger's life!

Not every adoptable cat gets picked right away. Some wait a little while. Some wait a very, very long time.

Lulu & Rocco have waited 1,300+ days. Together, always. Rocco’s the silly one, Lulu’s the mastermind. And still — not one single enquiry.

Honeybun, sweet as her name, has spent over 430 days quietly hoping. She loves snuggles, biscuits, and being your one-and-only.

Doritos & Pringles have never known life apart. From bottle babies to beautiful adults, they’ve been waiting over 1,300 days for someone to finally choose them.

Tommy is all heart — goofy, cuddly, and full of charm. He’s been waiting 450+ days, FIV+ but thriving, and ready to be someone’s best friend.

Birch has been waiting 1,480+ days.
She’s a little wobbly on her feet, but steady in her heart. Living with Cerebellar Hypoplasia hasn’t stopped her from being joyful, playful, and loving. She just wants someone to see her for who she truly is.

Mac & Coco were adopted as kittens. Then returned, abandoned, and forgotten. But even after all that, they still purr. They still believe. 870+ days later, they’re still dreaming of a second chance.

And Taj. Taj has waited 1,220+ days. He’s FIV+/FeLV+, but stable, happy, and full of love. A nap master. A sunshine seeker. A boy with a gentle soul and the biggest heart.

So many good cats. So many forgotten cats.
They’re not broken. They’re not less than. They’re simply waiting. For someone to love them back.

We’re thrilled to share that little Francis has found her forever home!

Francis first appeared at TNR feeding zone near a busy row of restaurants, clinging close to her sweet, gentle cat mom named Fergie. Neither of them were part of the usual known community colony, and given how out of place they seemed, we suspect they may have been abandoned there.

From day one, Francis revealed herself to be a soft and tender soul - gentle, curious, and deeply attached to those around her. She was never one to be alone, always seeking out a companion to curl up beside, whether a sibling or a mother figure.

Today, she’s exactly where she was meant to be: in a loving forever home, surrounded by a handful of furry siblings, thriving in the companionship she craved from the beginning.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of her journey and to her amazing new family for giving her the life she so deserves.🧡

Lobie has found his forever home! đŸ„łđŸ„ł

Lobak Putih (Lobie as he’s affectionately known) was meant to be a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). When he appeared at team mate ‘s condo one day, Ai Ling knew she’d eventually need to TNR him before he started causing trouble in her existing TNR colony. Even though he acted wary, surprisingly he was easy to trap and while recuperating at the vet’s, the vet team informed that he’s quite affectionate and that sealed his fate: he needed to rehomed instead of released.

Lobie first went to team mate to be fostered, then on to awesome foster mama where he really enjoyed indoor living. There, we discovered he’s a big foodie! 😂 Thank you so much, Vi Vian, for taking such great care of Uncle Lobie ❀

Lobie caught eye and after a successful home trial, he now has his forever family with Monnie & Edwin ❀

Lobie’s journey from street to forever home took a shorter time compared to many of our adult cats, and for this we are thankful. Thanks Monnie & Edwin, for giving an adult cat who is also FIV+, a chance at having a good life from now on â€ïžđŸ™đŸœ

Maybe she’s not the fluffiest. Maybe she’s not the first one people ask about. But Honeybun is the kind of cat who quietly steals your heart the moment you let her in.

She was first spotted near a coffee shop – alone, trying to survive on her own. We couldn’t take her in immediately, but we made her a promise: we’d come back for her. And a few months later, we did. The moment she entered foster care, it was like she knew. She relaxed, she purred, she made biscuits – and she hasn’t stopped since.

Honeybun is about 2 years old and true to her name – she’s sweet, affectionate, and absolutely full of love. But Honeybun also knows what she wants. She’s not one to compete for attention or get lost in a crowd. She would do best in a home where she can be the only pet, soaking up all the love and affection she missed out on during her time on the streets. She just needs someone kind, someone who will see her for the beautiful soul she is.

She’s already spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and FIV/FeLV negative. She’s healthy, ready, and waiting for her forever home.

Ash waited 8 years on the streets. She watched other cats come and go – but no one ever came for her. Until one day, everything changed.

Ash was part of ’s earliest batch of condo cats, and Ai Ling TNR-ed her back in 2017. At around 8 years old, she has been a beloved member of the cat colony but truly deserves a home where she can enjoy all the comforts and love she’s been missing.

Since then, she’s been thriving in foster care.
She doesn’t need much – just someone to sit with her, to share the quiet moments, and to smile while she makes biscuits with joy. Because Ash’s favorite hobby? Making biscuits. Standing, sitting, lying down – it’s always biscuit o’clock.

Ash is gentle and easygoing. And after everything she’s been through, she’s finally ready for a forever home of her own. She is dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, and FIV/FeLV negative.

Lissy’s story continues — and she’s still fighting.

Around a week ago, Lissy was supposed to have her CT scan — the next big step in understanding what’s going on with her liver. But the moment the sedation began, everything changed. Her heart rate dropped. We nearly lost her
again.

It was terrifying. But she made it through.

Instead of pushing forward, we pressed pause. Lissy spent the next few days safe at home with her foster, wrapped in love, rest, and soft blankets. She ate, purred, snuggled. She was still fragile, but she was still here.

At her follow-up this weekend, blood tests revealed something new: elevated kidney values and a concerning SDMA result. Her urine test confirmed it — her kidneys had likely been injured during the previous sedative round. It’s possible we were closer to losing her than we thought.

So now, the focus has shifted. Lissy is back at the vet clinic, on IV fluids, being monitored carefully. If her kidney values improve over the next few days, we’ll be able to try again — with extra precautions.

This girl has already survived so much. We’ve been able to keep fighting for her because of you. Your support has covered:
- RM3,285 for her initial emergency hospitalization
- RM264.50 for pre-CT bloodwork (the CT scan couldn’t go ahead)
- RM584 for her most recent hospitalization
- RM195 for Saturday’s follow-up bloodwork

We’ll keep sharing as we learn more. For now, Lissy is in good hands, and we’re holding hope tightly. One step at a time.

No “glow-up.” No makeover. Just cats who’ve always deserved to be seen.

Doritos & Pringles. Honeybun. Birch. All rescued. All wonderful. All still waiting.

Pringles and Doritos were just days old when they were abandoned. They didn’t know it yet — but they were safe. Bottle-fed and raised with love, they grew up playful, gentle, and full of personality. Now, after 1,296 days, they’re still waiting for someone to choose them. Still hoping.

Honeybun was already an adult when we found her, curled up outside a cafĂ©. Sweet, soft, affectionate — everything about her said “home.” That was 429 days ago. And somehow, she’s still overlooked.

And then there’s Birch. With her unique wobble and bright spirit, she never needed “fixing.” She’s lived 1,479 days knowing how to love — just waiting for someone to love her back.

These aren’t before-and-after stories. They’ve always been this lovely. This ready. This deserving.

Everyone else got picked. One by one, Monty and Drake watched their siblings go off to loving homes. They didn’t do anything wrong. They just got overlooked.

Rescued as tiny 4-week-old kittens from a box near a highway, these two grew up side by side. They’ve never known life apart. And they’ve never stopped waiting for a home to call their own.

Drake is a little goofball who gives his heart away without hesitation. He loves to cuddle, make biscuits, and curl up next to you like it’s his favorite place in the world (because it is). Monty is his quiet shadow — gentle, affectionate, and full of quiet joy. He’s not a lap cat, but he’ll be wherever you are, offering headbutts and soaking up every bit of love. They nap together. Play together. Make each other braver. They are a team. And they are ready.

Monty & Drake are 9 months old, neutered, deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative. We’d love to see them go to a home together — but more than anything, we just want them to be chosen, to be loved.

You’re not here by accident. And neither are they. These five kittens were all rescued from tough beginnings — alone, too young, and in desperate need of care. But today, they’re safe, thriving in foster care, and ready to find the humans who’ll love them forever.

Tornado, Firestorm, and Derecho (7 weeks old) were found huddled together in a school auditorium with no mama in sight. One of their siblings didn’t make it, but these three little storm boys survived — and they’ve been bringing chaos, cuddles, and joy to everyone around them ever since.

Baked Beans (2 months old) was rescued as a tiny newborn — eyes still closed — and lovingly hand-raised against the odds. His determination paid off, and now he’s a clingy little shadow full of happiness and heart.

Brisket (2.5 months old) was discovered on the road outside the US Embassy, scared and alone, until a kind rescuer scooped him up without hesitation.

These boys don’t need to be adopted together, but each will need a home with another friendly cat to keep them company and show them the ropes. (Or hey, maybe you’re thinking of adopting a pair? We won’t stop you!)

Following Seri Muka, we would now like to introduce you to his colony mate, Lily (or her kuih name, Kuih Koci) 😊 We kept her name Lily because it matches her beauty đŸ«¶đŸœ

Lily was the 4th girl who teammate sent to TNR from her condo security guard’s colony but shortly after being discharged, Lily didn’t look well and didn’t want to eat, so Ai Ling brought her back to the vet’s where they first discovered that she had a pyothorax (pus in the space around the lungs) and after the first procedure to remove the pus, they discovered she also had a pneumothorax (air in the space around the lungs after the pus was removed). These are typically not common conditions but thankfully, Lily recovered fully and she returned back to the guard’s care.

Lily is the 2nd of five cats that Ai Ling has on our waitlist to bring him to start their rehome journey. She started her rehome journey slightly over a month ago and has adjusted to being indoors.

Lily is about 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She’s your classic calico, sometimes sassy and affectionate when she wants to be. Lily is pretty easygoing and she’s available as a solo cat or to a home with another easygoing (non-alpha) cat.

What makes someone worth fighting for?

When Sena was rescued, she was the smallest. The weakest. The one no one was sure would survive. She kept crashing. We held our breath through sleepless nights. But Sena kept fighting — for every heartbeat, every breath, every moment of life.

Thanks to the tireless care of , Sena slowly began to heal. She grew stronger. Brighter. Bolder. And now, at 6 months old, she’s a picture of joy — affectionate and endlessly loving. She’ll rest her head on your hand while you work. She’ll run to greet you like you’re her whole world. She’s great with other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline friend.

Sena is deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready for her forever.
