Allergic Rescuers KL We are a group of friends who rescue, foster, and TNR strays in Kuala Lumpur, MY. We juggle full-time jobs and family commitments together with our rescue work.

We are NOT a shelter, just a group of like-minded friends who share a mission to help street cats that we come across in our daily lives. As such, we are not at liberty to take on rescue requests from the public. What we CAN do is share information and guide you HOW to help a cat in need. It takes a village to help our strays, not just a few individuals. YOU can do your part as well :) Imagine how many more stray cats we can help if everyone plays their part.

Some stories begin with a spark. Panini’s began with a pause - a moment in a carpark, a choice to stop and look closer at one tiny kitten all alone.

Wandering alone through a condo carpark, no mama in sight, no siblings, no one calling out her name. Just one tiny kitten, watching the world go by like she was waiting for something…or someone.

So we stopped. Scooped her up. Gave her a name - Panini - and a promise that she’d never be alone again. And oh, how she’s bloomed since. Panini is playful, cheeky, independent, and full of spark. She’s the kind of kitten who’ll chirp at you for attention, dash through the living room like it’s a racetrack, then flop down with a tiny sigh like she owns the place.

She’s about 4 months old, deflead, dewormed, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative. She’s looking for a forever home with another friendly cat or as a pair with one of her kitten friends.

Maybe you weren’t looking for a kitten today. But maybe…Panini has been waiting for someone just like you. Send us a DM to adopt her.

Thanks to your generosity, Caramel Apple's fundraiser is closed! Because of your incredible support, Apple is continuing to get the best care to live her version of a happy, healthy life. From the moment she was rescued, to her kidney issues, to her dental surgery, to her recent emergency hospitalization, this granny has been a fighter.

For now, her gastric ulcer has resolved. Her red blood cells are back to normal. Her fire is back and she's yelling for food! She's even gained 200g, which is amazing for a kidney patient. We love every gram of Apple!

However, her most recent bloodwork showed that her kidney levels have spiked. It’s not the outcome we’d hoped for, but it’s not the end either. Apple will continue to receive supportive care to help her kidneys, and she’ll be back at the vet for a check-up in two weeks.

We’re watching her closely and caring for her fiercely. And we’re so grateful to all of you who made this care possible.

Together, you raised over RM3,500, covering not only her hospitalization and emergency treatment, but also her ongoing care. You didn’t just help us save her...you helped us keep her going.

Thank you, from all of us, and from Apple, who is currently taking a nap on her favorite pillow. 🧡

Our next rescue we’d like to introduce from the Kuih Kats is Kuih Talam!

Kuih Talam was one of 27 cats who were being cared for by our teammate ‘s condo security guard. As we’d shared earlier, Ai Ling had helped TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) 12 females in the colony. Kuih Talam was one of the boys who had a urinary issue and Ai Ling had rushed him to the vet to get treatment, and at the same time, got him neutered. Talam’s urinary issues, like Seri Muka, is suspected to be caused by stress from being in a large multi-cat colony.

Kuih Talam is about 1.5 years old, a chill and easygoing boy, sweet and affectionate. He gets along well with other cats, and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. It’s due to his personality that we suspect he was getting stressed in a large colony where he had to fight for his survival. He loves following his foster mum around, even trying to sit on her lap when she’s on the toilet!

Kuih Talam would prefer to be in a home with cat friends but he doesn’t mind trying out life as a solo cat. DM us if you’d like to enquire about Kuih Talam!

We didn’t think we’d be here again, asking for help, talking about vet bills, sharing another medical story. But here we are. Because Apple made it. And now we want to make sure she keeps going.

It started with blood on the floor. Apple’s foster mum came home one evening to silence. There were no paws at the door, no familiar meow. Just a trail of blood and a cat trembling under the bed. She had vomited blood, and no one knew why.

Two vet visits later, we still had no answers. But her foster mum couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. She brought Apple in again the next morning, and this time an ultrasound revealed a thickened stomach wall. It was most likely a gastric ulcer, but possibly something more serious.

We started treatment right away, but Apple’s condition continued to worsen. Her red blood cells dropped. Her protein levels crashed. A blood transfusion became her only real chance, and that night, we were afraid it wouldn’t be enough. Her foster mum went in to be with her. She sat beside her and gently asked her to hold on.

And somehow, Apple did. The next morning she wasn’t just awake. She was yelling. She screamed at everyone in the clinic, loud and determined. Her fever dropped. Her scans looked better. The tide began to turn. And in true Apple fashion, she even pulled out her own feeding tube just to come home a little sooner.

Today, Apple is stable. Her red blood cell count is rising. Her stomach scans look normal again. She is receiving fluids every two days, and her appetite is slowly returning.

Now, we’re asking for help to cover the bill that made all of this possible. Her hospitalization and treatment came to RM2,515.90, and her follow-up care added another RM465. It was worth every cent. But we cannot manage it alone.

If you are in a position to help, even the smallest contribution would mean the world to us and to Apple.

Please DM us for donation details. And thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for believing that her life was worth saving. 🧡

Some days, it’s hard to keep going. Some days, it’s seeing Sena sit by the window, quietly watching the world go by - still waiting to be seen - that breaks our hearts.

Sena has survived more than most kittens ever should. She was the runt. The one no one thought would make it. But she did. She fought through every crash, every close call, every sleepless night. And slowly, she bloomed into the gentlest, sweetest little cat you could ever meet.

At 8 months old, she’s affectionate and so full of quiet love. She rests her head in your hand while you work. She follows you around like you’re her whole world. But still…somehow, she keeps getting overlooked.

We’re not giving up on her. But we’re hoping someone will finally give her the chance she’s been waiting for.

Sena is dewormed, vaccinated, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and ready for adoption. She’s great with other cats and would thrive in a home with a feline friend.

If you think you might be her person, send us a DM. Or share this post - that alone could change her life. 🙏
