One of my most cherished clients, Mr. Orange Julius. I've known this child since 2007, when I first met him near Atlanta, GA. He belongs to some of my very best friends & it is an absolute joy to spend a couple weeks in his presence! 🧡

Hello Pittsburgh! In light of our unanimous passing of legislation to ban the practice of cat declawing in our city (Peduto has not signed it yet, but it WAS a unanimous vote so far), I'd just like to remind you to kindly NOT ever declaw your cats, and please also do NOT devocalize your dog(s). If their bark is that horrible, either you are not taking enough care of them the way that they need and should consider finding it a better home (we all make mistakes, but if your dog absolutely won't stop barking it very likely does need more attention), OR the dog might also require training. Most likely both more love and training are needed. Either way, YOU are the solution, not putting your animal through surgery to remove tissue in their throat so that their bark is "quieter." Every dog I have ever heard that has had this done sounds absolutely pitiful and miserable. As with feline declawing, imagine it happening to YOU. That is all for now, and thank you Pittsburgh for voting NO to cat declawing!!!

As a veterinarian, I have clearly seen the difference between dogs who are fed a balanced homemade diet versus dogs who are fed kibble. The statistics show that you can add years to your dog’s life if you make the switch early enough.
