TNR
Population Control:
Uncontrolled breeding can lead to a significant increase in the number of community cats. This overpopulation can result in crowded shelters, higher euthanasia rates, and more cats living in poor conditions on the streets.
Returning TNR back to her familiar area.
A New Start in Her Neighborhood
Back in her usual spot, our tough kitty friend is starting fresh—a life without the worries of making babies or wandering around unsure. She’s had her shots and her ear clipped to show she’s safe now. As she roams around her old stomping grounds, she feels more confident and safe.
Without the weight of being a mom, she can explore, play, and hang out with her cat pals without any worries. Every day is a chance for her to discover something new and enjoy being herself.
In her neighborhood, she finds comfort and friendship with other cats and the people who look out for them. Together, they make a little community where every cat is important and cared for.
Let’s support her on this new journey and make sure she feels loved and protected. Day by day, may she find happiness and contentment in the familiar places she knows so well, knowing she’s surrounded by friends who care about her.
Returning TNR cats
Morning Return: Bringing Two TNR Males Back to Their Neighborhood
With the morning light filtering through the trees, two TNR males were brought back to their familiar streets. They trotted eagerly, happy to be home again. As they sniffed around, memories flooded back, and their tails wagged with joy. With each step, they reacquainted themselves with their neighborhood, marking their territory proudly. And as the day unfolded, they disappeared into the familiar sights and sounds, grateful to be back where they belonged.
Drop trap
Engaging in my passion once again: caring for community cats. ❤️
Trapping community cats
While I understand that my opinion may not carry much weight, I feel compelled to share my frustration. Recently, I was in a neighborhood trapping cats for a neighbor, and I approached a lady who was in her yard with a white and black cat. I explained my purpose, mentioning that I had previously fixed seven cats for her neighbor in January, and that I was there to trap the last three males and a kitten. I noticed a black and white male cat frequenting her yard and inquired if she was providing food for him and others. She confirmed she was feeding them every morning, but when I asked if she planned to get them fixed, she vaguely responded that she was “working on it.” It was surprising to learn that she’s a vet working at a spay and neuter clinic, yet she seemed indifferent to addressing the issue. When I offered my trapping services for free, she again brushed it off, claiming she was “working on it.” It’s disheartening to encounter individuals who seem reluctant to accept help, especially when they have the means and resources to make a difference. I nearly trapped one of the injured males under my drop trap, but he escaped at the last moment. I wish this doctor would take action to help the community cats in her yard, considering her profession and connections. Unfortunately, encounters like these highlight the challenges of addressing the overpopulation of cats in our community, especially when those who could make a difference choose not to act.
Foster Heidi
Debbie, I just wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude, especially in fostering Heidi at such short notice. Your kindness and willingness to help, no matter the circumstances, mean the world to me. Every time I reach out to you, you never hesitate to offer your support, and I am truly touched by your generosity. Thank you for always being there when I need you. Heidi is so lucky to have been in your care, and I am forever grateful to have you in my life.❤️
Returning cats to their familiar area
Yesterday, I joyfully reunited a mother cat and her four-month-old kitten with their familiar surroundings. Despite the kitten being less social, both received essential care – spaying, neutering, vaccinations, and ear notching. Now, they’re set for an improved life, embracing the outdoors with happiness.
Lupin and Sirius, looking for a forever home.
Lupin and Sirius were rescued six months ago on the Palmetto Expressway in Miami. After taking them to Miami Dade Animal Service, I discovered they were adopted just the day before my intervention. However, the owner decided to surrender them back to the service, prompting me to adopt both the next day due to their strong bond. Lupin, diagnosed with heartworm, underwent three months of medication and treatment, a process I’m grateful to have guided successfully. Their deep connection is evident – they seek each other, cry in absence, and once, Sirius even leaped a fence searching for Lupin during a clinic visit. Both are house-trained, know a few commands, and show intelligence. They walk well together or individually, respecting mealtime patiently. They’re great with other dogs, enjoy dry and wet food, and are child-friendly. For those seeking two affectionate, smart, and beautifully mixed German Shepherds, please visit my website and fill out the application.
They’re eagerly awaiting the opportunity to find their forever home up north.
Watching cat TV
Spice and Tiny delight in watching birds on YouTube via cat TV. This channel keeps these kitties entertained, making it a favorite pastime for them.
This tomcat seems content to be back. No more contributing to overpopulation, just a happier life ahead. He might not realize it, but we do.😻

Reuniting two spayed female kittens with their mother in their familiar environment. They've received vaccinations, a spay procedure, and an ear notch. Despite their initial shyness and fear of people, they are in a secure space with a dedicated feeder. My home already has numerous shy cats to socialize, so ensuring they return to a comfortable setting was essential.

Rescue Mission: A Tale of Unexpected Passenger and Happy Endings
On Tuesday night, while working on trapping, an unexpected guest, a cat, found its way into my car through the open back door. Realizing this only when I was about to close the door due to an approaching car, I quickly secured the windows to prevent the cat from escaping. After the cat calmed down, I cautiously attempted to guide her into a carrier I had in the front seat, but she evaded capture and hid between the folded-down third-row seats. Determined to ensure her safety, I carefully coaxed her out, yet she remained stubborn. Eventually, I made the decision that she was coming home with me. Upon arriving, I swiftly removed all trapping equipment from the car and retrieved a net. With gentle perseverance, I managed to lift the seat, prompting her to dash onto the dashboard where I safely captured her with the net. A happy ending ensued as she was spayed today.🥰
Mama duck with her baby duckling
Check out this heartwarming video capturing the mama duck and her ducklings delighting in their meal of dry food.🥰
I returned to the location where there’s two kittens, two junior cats, a mother, and possibly two males unfixed. After successfully trapping one kitten and the feeder was able to grab the other kitten. I patiently waited for the remaining cats. A new cat unexpectedly appeared, and I was overjoyed to see him taking interest in the food beneath the drop trap. It's been a successful morning indeed, as I managed to trap this tomcat that desperately needed intervention. No more reproducing for him, and a much happier life ahead.
The kitten trapped this morning has an upper respiratory issue and requires treatment before the spaying or neutering procedure.
Meet Dusty, a gentle soul who underwent neutering just two weeks ago. When his concerned owner reached out to me on Tuesday for help, I immediately recognized the severity of his condition. Dusty had been administered antibiotics and a convenia shot by the vet, but upon visiting their home, it was evident that he needed urgent and intensive care. Witnessing his struggle, I took him in, devoting myself to ensuring his well-being. For 3 days, I diligently force-fed him, provided various medications, and delivered the necessary supportive care. After a few days of tireless efforts, Dusty began to show signs of improvement, eventually regaining his appetite and achieving a significant milestone by passing stool. Though the process demanded a substantial amount of time and dedication, the joy of seeing Dusty on the road to recovery made it all worthwhile.
