Black Molly Black Molly ist die schwarze Zuchtform des Spitzmaulkärpflings.

Das Nahrungsspektrum des Spitzmaulkärpflings umfasst neben pflanzlicher Nahrung auch kleine Krebstiere, Insekten und andere Wirbellose. Die Aufwuchsalgen (samt Mikrozoobenthos drin) können leicht abgeschabt werden, weil der Unterkiefer in sich derart nachgiebig ist (dank Knorpelstab), dass die Ober- und Unterkieferzähne miteinander 120° einschließen können.
