Honey will leave her food to come say hi! I fed her, walked off to get my phone, so she started eating and then came right back when she saw me again.
I’m so happy to have this girl back. Her 4 babies are a week old today!! I hope they are as sweet as her! 🥰❤️
P.S. If you hear squeals in the background, that would be my 2 classroom guinea pigs that are VERY loud when they know it’s feeding time. 🤪

We have a nest builder! This super sweet orange doe comes from our friends at Bitsy Bunnies Rabbitry. The breeder bought a buck from our orange lines a few years ago. We now have this orange doe and a broken orange buck from our lines to help get our oranges going again. So nice to not have to start completely over with the issue of others not giving babies.

2022 Recap:
Several wins at rabbit shows this year and hope to continue to show some in 2023.
However, I think because we showed several times some of our best does sat too long, so breeding will be more of a focus for 2023.
We have 5 litters due so far over the next month so hoping for some success in at least some of those! 🤞🏻🙏🏻

We had a long, but fun day of showing! Bennett only showed 3 Holland Lops and I only showed 3 as well.
Bennett’s Blaze (black otter) beat out 16 other bucks and placed Best of Opposite Variety in Show A. I caught most of the video with the judge. He was nice and loud so I recorded it. 😆
There were 75 Hollands entered in youth today with most of those being solids if I recall correctly.
His 2 does did pretty well too! His Angora had great comments and did well against his competitors from breeder we purchased his angora from. His AFL didn’t do great, but hopefully better next time!
I had a couple 1st/ 2nd placings with mine but open had smaller classes.
Great to see our rabbit friends! With such a crazy schedule right now, we will look forward to showing again later this fall/winter, but won’t be showing a ton. We need to work on getting more babies around here for the spring. 😬🤞🏻
