Harper loves to explore but lately, we've been finding new ways to ignite her love of adventure while still letting her body taking it easy.

Sometimes that means carrying her a little more, others times we use her wheels, and sometimes it's in her .co harness. And sometimes, she gets to walk the whole trip on her own. Either way, it keeps Harper going and her mind happy.

Let me tell you, it only took one time of carrying an injured dog 2 miles out of the woods to never want to do it again 😅

After a bit of research into different emergency options, especially options that can be functional for different size dogs, I chose this .co harness. Yuki sitting next to the condensed pack for scale. It should fit easily into our hiking packs, and while I hope to never need to use it, I won’t be hiking without it again.

Yuki was a very patient model while I figured out the straps and tested the carrying around the living room lol. She seemed pretty comfortable hanging out back there 🤷‍♀️😆

I get asked sometimes how and why I made the Pup Traveler. It’s because of this guy, met him and his Mom and Pops and that was the inspiration. Normally he’s hiking mountains in CO in his wheelchair but sometimes he needs to be carried. Hence the IVDD safe Pup Traveler. Keep cruising Dip!!
