Meet Chrissy!
This beautiful 10-year-old, 10 lb blond terrier mix is as gentle and loving as they come. Chrissy may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet nature shines through. She adores affection, enjoys quiet companionship, and has a soft spot for treats — she’s very food motivated (so you might want to keep the snacks tucked away!).

Chrissy has been through some tough times and shows a bit of wear from her past — she has no teeth, her jaw isn’t quite straight, and one of her eyes is smaller, likely from an old injury. But none of that stops her from being absolutely beautiful, inside and out.

She’s fully house trained and enjoys calm environments where she can relax in her favorite bed and blanket. Chrissy isn’t a fan of leashes, collars, or walks — she prefers the simple comforts of home. She’s a low-energy girl who would love a cozy space to call her own.

She’s great with other dogs and hasn’t been tested with cats, though her calm, gentle nature suggests she’d likely do fine. Chrissy greets visitors kindly, but a quieter home without young children would be best, as she’s quite sensitive.

Eye drops in her smaller eye help her feel more comfortable, though she’s not too fond of getting them.

Chrissy is being fostered in Clementsvale, NS, and is ready to find a forever family who will love her for the sweet, special little soul she is.

Taquito is a tiny ball of energy and curiosity wrapped in a Chihuahua-sized frame. 🐕 He can be a bit shy at first and enjoys hiding under a blanket or in a cozy corner. With patience, he warms up quickly and loves curling into a lap for snuggles. 🧡 Treats are his favorite way to make friends. 🍪 His adopters will need to be mindful of his adventurous streak as he is a true flight risk. 🐾 Pickups are a must, as he adores being held and staying close to the people he trusts. 🐶

Taquito est une petite boule d'énergie et de curiosité dans un corps de chihuahua. 🐕 Il peut être un peu timide au premier abord et aime se cacher sous une couverture ou dans un coin douillet. Avec un peu de patience, il se détend rapidement et adore s’enrouler sur les genoux pour recevoir des câlins. 🧡 Les gâteries sont son moyen préféré pour se faire des amis. 🍪 Ses adoptants devront être attentifs à son côté aventurier, car il est très susceptible de s'enfuir. 🐾 Il faut absolument le prendre dans les bras, car il adore être porté et rester près des personnes en qui il a confiance. 🐶

FONZIE is a BOY 💙💙💙

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: please let me reintroduce Fonzie. My earlier post incorrectly identified this sweet cat as a female. I received a text today from a veterinarian who had just done an exam on Fonzie, and she informed me that I had him posted with the wrong gender. My sincere apologies to the Fonz.

Fonzie finds himself in need of a home after his loving owner passed away. He is 4 years old, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He has lived with other cats previously and though he has not lived with dogs, we did introduce him to a calm, cat-friendly dog and he didn’t react poorly. We feel he would do okay in a home with a dog, provided the dog was calm in nature and respectful of Fonzie’s need for some quiet space. Fonzie is quite timid currently, though he does well hanging out in a cat bed in the office that he has claimed as his space.
