Premier Pet Care Ltd is 18 YEARS OLD !!

Wow, I can't believe it and what a fabulous 18 years it has been!

I'm privileged to have so many wonderful clients. Many of you are now also good friends and I've seen your families grow up, shared the sorrow of losing your pets and welcomed the next generations of pets.

So, lots of people to thank....

Starting with my family Craig Bedford Kate Johnstone James Bedford. Without their help and support this wouldn't have been possible. My children were 2 and 9 when I started in 2006. We had many regular boarders staying with our family. It's fair to say that Keano (Samantha Perkins Kettle) was one of our favorites and led to us getting our own Ridgeback, Hugo.
Thank you to Craig for helping me set up my business, doing my accounts and putting up with the occasional chaos!

Looking back at my first year, many of my clients/friends are still a part of my life and my business family. How lucky am I, having the best job in the world, caring for your pets and enjoying walks in our local countryside.
I hope you don't mind me tagging you here and thanking you for your support and friendship over the last 18 years.

Special thanks must go to Sally Barber. We met in 2009 when I helped with their new puppy, Hollie. Then, in 2010, she joined me helping with walks and cat visits. She soon became a firm favorite with all those she cared for. Now she runs her own business but is always there with a helping hand whenever I might need it. Thank you so much x

When I first set up, I met other professional dog walkers whilst out on my walks. There weren't so many of us 18 years ago!! The profession has grown so much over the years. And finally, a big thank you to all my more recent clients. Too many to mention here and I apologise for not doing so. Also, to all my friends with newer dog walking businesses. It's great to have you all in my life and know what a wonderful, supportive community we have.

Introducing my own new dog, MERLIE 💙

She comes from rescue and has been with us since early December and recently formally adopted.

She's still on lead walks while recovering from being neutered and has met most of my regular dogs.

She's full of life and super friendly , though a little cautious at times . But given her background, she is doing really well.

Local vets are currently seeing a large number of dogs with vomiting and diarrhoea. Some are becoming extremely unwell for several days and needing to have intravenous fluids.

Please bw aware and try to keep your dog away from other dogs, especially if they have been showing any symptoms.
