The shelter thinks I am about 1 year.
I weigh approximately 13.90 lbs.
I have been at the shelter since Nov 10, 2023 and I may be available for adoption on Nov 18, 2023 at 11:07AM.

STAFF NOTES:
11/14/23 13:48 Due to over crowding, kenneled with another pup of similar size. Both are doing well, no aggression seen from either.
12/05/23 11:45 Went to take him out of the kennel for pictures. He's in his kennel with two other and was perfectly happy with the others running interference for him. He did not want the leash or to come out with me. Once I got him out, he refused to walk and had to be carried. I don't know if he is leash trained and fearful or not leashed trained and fearful. Once out in the yard, I put him down, removed the leash and walked away. He followed my every step, right on my heels but when I turned around, he moved away and sat down. Seems like he wants to be close and wants to make friends but needs some time. Until then, he will stay just out of reach. He was calm, showed no interest in exploring or playing with toys. When it was time to go back, he allowed me, after some convincing to put the leash back on him. No issues with picking him up and carrying him back to his kennel.

We are participating in BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters - Holiday Hope Event! Thanks to their generous LIFE SAVING support, from December 1st to December 17th, we will be waiving adoption fees. CACC is just one of more than 380 participating organizations in 43 states. Shelters are at critical capacity and the need is urgent!
