Fun fact : In extremely cold temperatures, reindeer noses may take on a pinkish hue. This color change is due to the dilation of blood vessels in the nose, which helps to increase blood flow and, in turn, heat production.
Our Male’s Antlers are growing!

Fun fact : Antlers grow from bony supporting structures called pedicels. Secretions from the pituitary gland initiate the growth of antlers, and growth is rapid — up to almost an inch per day. As they grow, they’re covered with skin and soft hair called velvet, which carries blood vessels and nerves.

Our friends and good Ol Saint Nick are in the United States. Our local reindeer can’t wait to see their reindeer friends.

Remember to leave cookies out for Santa and don’t worry about the carrots the reindeer actually cannot eat them. Their lack of top teeth prevents them from chewing them down into a digestible size. The food of choice for most reindeer is lichen, a fungi-algi symbiote. Which our reindeer and our friends back at the North Pole get plenty of!

It's that time of year again where we're all feeling the holiday spirit and spreading cheer 🎄 But let's not forget about the grinch!
Rumor has it that the grinch has had a change of heart and is now hanging out with a group of reindeer 🦌 Can you believe it?! He's gone from stealing Christmas to helping Santa deliver presents 🎁 I guess even the grinch can't resist the magic of the season 🎅🏼
Who knows, maybe the grinch and the reindeer will start their own Christmas tradition 🎄 Forget sleighs, they could deliver presents with a giant green monster and a herd of reindeer! 🚀
So let's all give a round of applause for the grinch and his new reindeer buddies 🎉 Who knows

Did you know a reindeer's hooves expand in the summer?
This is because their hooves harden during the winter time, allowing them to trudge harder surfaces and break through ice. They expand in the summer when things warm up a bit, and there isn't as much snow or harder fixtures to work through.
Which also means our reindeer are ready for events all year long!

The weather outside has been nice and we have been enjoying it here at the ranch! We are ready for our next event!
We will be in Alba this Saturday! Look for the Fly High Reindeer sign and get up close to Santa’s favorite animal!
Fun fact: Female reindeer normally grow bigger antlers than males do, which is why the leader of the herd is usually a female.
