Two horses left as part of the dispersal…here’s the broodmare (other is her weanling c**t) I had to regrettably add to the sales list. Vermilyea Farms Eternal Beauty (Beauty). She’s 33.5” at last measure, AMHA/AMHR (she is A Champion), 9 years old, was exposed to my stallion Antonio earlier this month over four days, and is one of my favorites. She is actually here at Wil Rogers and I don’t plan on taking her home. Message or text me for details!

Pecan Hollow Farm (AMHA/AMHR) - Dispersal Announcement

Big news as Stephanie and I are planning to open up a new exciting chapter in our lives after the AMHA World Show next month! As a result, we are planning to shut down the farm for now, take at least next year off completely from the horse world, and will be reducing the herd dramatically to a select few horses that I will keep for 2025 and beyond.

Of these horses that I will keep, a precious few will be available for lease to the right person(s) to show and/or training/breeding next year with some very beneficial terms.

Those that are up for sale include top winning bloodlines with numerous broodmares (many in foal or exposed pending final vet check in couple of weeks to my 3x Grand Champion stallion Antonio and Reserve Grand Champion Elegant Arts Impress Me With Love), national and world champions, and a couple of exceptional weanlings from Antonio.

As the plan is to clear out all horses by no later than the middle of October, there will be some exceptional and aggressive deals to be had with transport to either Nationals or Worlds available.

Last one of the herd seeking new pastures this evening is Pecan Hollows Arturos Red Ryder.

Seeking a new paddock to call home! Red Ryder is an AMHA 26.5” red roan yearling c**t out of 29” Multi-World Champion Pecan Hollows Boleros Arturo and my first home-grown mare Pecan Hollows Dreamin of Delilah. Expected maturity is 28-29”.

He has very nice features, and a very good attitude. As you can see by the photos, his colors and look can change as his hair grows. The predominate white color is right after clipping and he steadily adds the red as it grows out. Exceptional blood lines for those looking for small c**t to breed. Has been handled since he was born and would make excellent therapy or companion prospect.

Next up for the new-pasture-searching c**ts is Pecan Hollows Antonios Stefano (Steve)…

He’s AMHA/AMHR registered and out of my 3x Grand Champion Alliance Boleros Antonio and World Champion Lucky Four Rebel Supreme Hifalutin, Steve is a handsome Futurity-nominated 28” pinto yearling stallion with two blue eyes and a look-at-me attitude. Expected maturity is 30”or under.

He won both of his classes at AMHA Central Regionals earlier in July. All of his siblings have won world titles, and Steve will be looking to join them during the AMHA World Show in September.

It’s down-sizing time!

Pecan Hollows Antonios Angelo

Angelo is a stunning AMHA/AMHR registered c**t and sired by my 3x Grand Champion Alliance Boleros Antonio. His dam is National Champion Lazy N Incendios Clarice. He is a two year old chestnut junior stallion measuring 32.5”. Expected to mature at 33”-34”.

He looks very much like his sire and carries his distinct features: beautiful head, balanced body, chrome on the face, and the large deep eyes that breeders strive for. He’d make an excellent herd stallion (or champion-level gelding), is intelligent, curious, and has exceptional movement. I see future all-around horse here!

He has a world title as a weanling already, and will be shown at AMHA Worlds this year if not delivered to Nationals.

First baby of the year is a special one - Meet Pecan Hollows Antonios Tempestosa. After several tries, she’s the first baby out of World Champion Vermilyea Farms Eternal Beauty and my 3x Grand Champion Antonio. 7.5” canons so 32”-34” is expected height.

Casey Campbell and Wingate have done incredible job on preparing this truly miniature Arabian style c**t for his World Show debut and ultimate pace here on the form as my Antonio’s breed partner.

While I am home on four-horse-foal-watch, Emilee Plett took on all prep and show duties with yearling c**t Pecan Hollows Antonios Angelo (Jello). Result - Supreme title x 1 and several grands/reserve grands. Ironically his daddy Alliance Boleros Antonio won his first supreme title at exact same show 7 years ago. Here’s to the same show path! 2021 AMHA World Show is a wrap and we and the horses are safely home. Seven home bred horses - all sired by Antonio - went with five winning titles, including Liliana taking the Amateur Futurity Grand Chanpionship on Wednesday!
