MEDICAL INSURANCE AVAILABLE FOR XL BULLYS!!!

I called them myself today and they ARE in fact offering insurance for XLs. The lovely lady on the phone even said “it’s not the breeds fault so they are choosing to offer lifetime cover”
Give them a call on 0333 030 1000

But must follow the below rules as advised by our insurance company and government laws:

1. The dog must be registered with the IED
2. Must have public liability insurance
3. Dog handler ratio 1:1
4. Must be neutered (age appropriate in line with government law)
5. Must be microchipped
6. Must be on lead and muzzled prior to entering the pool enclosure
7. Only attend solo swims which can be shared with dogs from the same household

Can you help us, help others?

We receive absolutely no government funding and are balancing our own jobs alongside Bully Boardroom.

As registered and regulated professionals, the information we put out has to be balanced and evidence-based as we have done and continue to do.

We have already done a fair bit, but as the deadline for phase two gets closer, more help will be needed.

If anyone is in the position to help others, we would love to hear from you.

Lacey and Sophie

MUZZLES!
Ok so this has been one of our biggest struggles so far
But we had the help of Maddie Ashe & here is what we learned!
Firstly Take your time! A dog with a few days with indoor enrichment is better than either a stressed dog who was forced to wear a muzzle or worse a seized dog for not wearing one!
Maddie’s quote that will stick with me was ‘cheese is life’ & honestly primula squirty cheese tubes are quite LITERALLY in this case a potential a life saver!
So far we’ve not gone outside with it but that’s todays mission. I will walk around the garden with her with it on
At the minute every time she sees it she’s too happy knowing the face cage brings cheese!
It is the cheesy face cage to her lol
It is so awfully I know, just try to find a way to make it fun for them ❤️
Here is Nessa wearing the cheesy face cage yesterday and was the first time we got it done up. Progress right!
This isn’t the right size for her. However, we are waiting on one to be made so working with this in the meantime.
Hope this helps ❤️❤️❤️

If there are any rescue centres who are choosing to exempt bullies in their care. Please list them below. There are people enquiring about giving some sort of financial support & sponsorship.
Equally, if you are someone who wants to give support either financially or through volunteering please contact any local rescues to see how you can help. Anything we find we will share on this page.

The purpose of this page is to try to help people to still give their banned breed dog a fun and fulfilling life even with the restrictions.

I would like to build a community spirit and network of support and a wealth of information from financial advice/support, places they can enjoy freely such as private woodlands & fields, housing who accept the breed, training providers, activities, holiday accommodations and places they are welcomed ❤️

I am a bully owner myself plus a rescue Corso and have adopted another bully who will come to live her forever with us in a few weeks when she can leave her mother. We will be looking for places to explore and will let people know about our travels. We also welcome all banned breed owners to share their finds that will help to enrich our banned babies lives ❤️❤️❤️
