DZ's Doggie Treats DZ's Doggie Treats is a real life project designed to build on D's (Dylan's) love of baking and his love for Z (Zar) his dog. He makes and sells dog treats

Dylan is an extra-ordinary young man and his dog Zar is just as extra-ordinary! Dylan and his family are grateful for their boxer mix rescue dog, Zar. Zar came to Dylan and his family from Safe Harbor Rescue Program at Lansing Correctional Facility when he was about a year old. When Zar was adopted Dylan's family had just gone through a divorce and times were kind of sad and bumpy for everyone. Za

r became a huge support to everyone. Zar goes with the boys to each home and is happy to see everyone and ready to love on everyone. Zar is very special to Dylan and his entire family. Dylan has had many special people in his life. One special person, Tracy, who worked with him at school opened her own business in partnership with two other very special women that also worked with Dylan at school. Tracy approached Dylan's mom about making Doggie Treats as a way to expand Dylan's skills and build on his passions in his young life. Dylan, his family, and friends made the first batch of DZ's Treats on November 20, 2016. Z tested and approved! We may have tested them too with some grape Jelly! :) Yum! The DZ's Doggie Treats Project is a way to help Dylan learn new skills about money, costumer service, and a way to honor the special place Doggie's have in our lives! Dylan will be selling treats at The Art House at 700 Locust
Street in Lawrence Kansas on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Come see us!!

Today we made some business cards for D as he has wanted to be able to pass out treats while riding his bike around his neighborhood! He gets exercise and listens to his favorite tunes while connecting with dogs and people. Its very fun!

I like to ride my bike with my mom, talk to neighbors and give out treats! Today I met a dog named Mason! 🥰🎁
