Uno came today. He got stuck in some pond weeds and had to be rescued. His previous owners saved him from the weeds but he hasn’t been able to walk since. Hoping to figure out what is ailing him/her and that he can recover.

I was contacted about these boys back in May. They are dumped at a park about an hour and a half away…It’s hard to find help catching and it is quite a task even with help. Thanks to a great friend she met me and we got the two pekins last weekend. I did have one of the khakis but we couldn’t get the remaining so I made the hard decision to put the other back with him. I’m hoping to try again to get the two khakis.

Just picked these littles up. Lots of driving the last couple days. These guys were ordered and supposed to have been canceled but they still got sent to the post office. The lady that ordered moved out of state. Thankfully her daughter picked them up at the post office and I met her to get them.

These two were hanging out in a residential area in Cleveland. They were being fed by some kind people but not kept safe. Thankfully Juan Gil was able to go right out and catch them. Big big thank you to Juan for being a huge help with sparrows, pigeons and now he can add ducks to his list. ❤️

I was contacted about these guys that they needed a new home. Thanks to Robin who is always ready to help she picked them up and met me to get them. Thank you so much for being such a huge help Robin. ❤️❤️❤️

Donald is looking and feeling better today. Getting that fluid off is such a relief. He is out with his friends enjoying the nice day.

As we never know how long anyone is going to be with us, It’s always hard to lose them no matter if they are only here one day. Sometimes there is no warning and one will pass away. Sometimes you do everything you can and they still pass away, sometimes there is just nothing anyone can do but only their best. Regardless it is always heartbreaking no matter the situation. Until then Donald will be extra spoiled. ❤️

Picked up a couple new kids while I was at the vet with Donald. The previous owner took good care of them but the one boy is having leg and eye issues. She was doing everything right but he hasn’t gotten better. Pekins tend to have a rough time it seems. Hopefully we can get him on the right track.

Donald is at the vet hoping to figure out why he is retaining so much fluid. We removed about 30 ounces last Wednesday. 🙏🏻

This girl came in over a month ago. She couldn’t walk very well. Had maggots on and around her vent. She made it out to the coop a couple weeks ago. ❤️

She passed away before we made it home. I think my heart is about done.

This girl is not feeling well…Bad leg infection and she is going through a rough molt. Picking her up now from Horizon Animal Hospital. She had surgery today to clean out the infection and save her leg. Prayers appreciated for a quick recovery.

Got a call about a goose with fishing line while on my mission to pick up the ducks. Thankfully we took care of that too. Unfortunately I seen another goose with fishing line and not having any food with me he wouldn’t let me get him. I was lucky to get this one though and I will be back for the other.

On our way home with the pekin from Shawnee that was rescued by Marlene, Linda and Todd. She didn’t know she was being greeted with a friend. Thanks to everyone that helped!

Graphic video. Poor girl had her whole leg ripped off so I knew I’d be dealing with maggots. I got her comfortable for the evening. Seems to be superficial. We will see what the vet says. 🙏🏻

Jelly Bean

We are back at the vet. Jelly Bean has gotten worse. Please pray for her to get better.

3 girls that needed a new home. A goose with fishing line around his neck, removed and released. A male pekin that has infection in his legs currently being treated. A mallard that was hit by a car his mate was killed and he had to be put down. Babies! 2 dumped geese that keep giving one of my favorite rescue people the go around but she will get them! And goose with fishing line I removed and released.

Sparrow that flew into a window. Big thanks to one of my favorite couples that are always there to help me when I reach out…Today was a crazy day of phone calls. Couldn’t do it without their help and ones like this little one wouldn’t have had a chance. ❤️

Ducks

Just contacted about these discarded male ducks. Would anyone like to give them a good home?

Akron/Canton are…These babies need a good home. One of the Rouens has a leg deformity. I would be willing to take him as he will need extra care.

Two different people contacted me today about spotting these babies at a local park. I’m thankful that common sense told them this didn’t seem normal. Thank you Sarah for keeping them safe until you found help. Thank you Lavonne for always being there to foster when they are in your area…Thank you Mary for reaching out also knowing these babies needed help…We have to work together. ❤️

5 recently dumped domestic male ducks. To those out there saying they are willing to help me because I have too many animals…This is how you can help. I’ll make sure these guys are fed in the meantime.

Sorry for the delay on Julia. Not much has changed and she is still at the vet because twice a day they have to help her empty her bowels. Her white blood count is good, no more infection and she is eating and getting around like a champ. The only problem is she can’t live an easy life having someone help her poop. So the only option besides the one I won’t mention is to do another surgery to try and take up her colon. The Dr doesn’t seem like that’s the best thing because we don’t know of the long term outcome but will be willing to do as I choose. Please pray for a miracle for her. She is so happy and full of life it just breaks my heart she is going through this. We really cannot afford another surgery so I pray she will be healed. ❤️
