This super sweet imported gelding will take his rider steadily up the levels! Othello has three correct and elastic gaits, his rhythmical canter offers nice suspension and is his highlight. His pedigree is stacked with talent and Grand Prix horses! Othello is soft in the bridle and balanced. He has been ridden by AAs and is diligent is pleasing a new rider. Easily schooling First Level as well as counter canter and is a pro with desensitization work! No lunging needed, the same after multiple days off. A puppy dog personality makes him a barn favorite (his cute white nose helps too!). This gelding is a lovely prospect for the FEI and is a lovely choice for an AA to develop up the levels!

Reigndale CPF is a beautiful example of a sport prospect for the future of American Dressage. Bred right here in Kansas by our favorite Crooked Post Farm! This 2021 gelding by Glamourdale already shows us his wonderful balance and rhythm in all three gaits, even with his leggy frame. Reigndale is out of Belly, the same dam that produced Nobello, a previous KV sale horse that was exceptionally easy to start undersaddle and train, he was ridden bridleless, with flags, over tarps and continued to develop into a lovely Dressage prospect with an amateur friendly mind. Belly herself is no slouch, she is an Elite mare with PROK and EPTM. And his sire, Glamourdale needs no introduction with his extensive competition records and long list of FEI offspring. Reigndale has already been exposed to the horse show environment while he attended his first breed show in 2022. He brought home qualifying scores for the Breeders Championships later this year! This young boy baths, lunges, clips, hauls, stands of farrier and accepts bribes in the form of carrots.
I love to see how the “spicy”/“quick twitch” horses come into a completely different state of mind while doing the desensitization work. You can really see their mind start to slow and process the different stimuli and their confidence starts to soar. Plus it’s also fun to take a day away from typical arena work!
