‼️PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION UPDATE‼️
I don’t like to moan but I think I need to put out a reminder about cancellations. I expect minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations of appointments. I understand circumstances change, things happen, and sometimes you need to cancel or move plans, but this is my livelihood and in the last few weeks alone I am down a few hundred pounds from last minute cancellations or rearrangements. I am getting busier by the week, and so giving me as much notice as possible allows me to book in others who may be waiting on a slot.
On that note too, please, please can clients be putting me in your diary upon point of booking, a simple “sorry I forgot” is very, very frustrating and it costs me money (time wise!) to be looking through what is a very busy diary to find when we booked you in. I do also always include our next appointment in your session notes that are emailed to you, so it’s worth checking there first!
I am now also accepting card payments (which includes pay by phone), for paying at the end of appointments, and will only accept bank transfer in the rarest of cases (ie if there’s no cell service). Again, I have had too many non-payments and spent a lot of my time recently chasing people up. 99% of the time it is accidental and I appreciate that, but again, this is my livelihood. You don’t walk into a shop, take something off the shelf, and say you’ll pay a month later, so I shouldn’t expect that either!
I hope this hasn’t come across as too much of a rant, but I’m sure you can appreciate that by saving time on chasing people up, I can put more energy into treating all your lovely horses and working on this little business of mine to improve it for all of you!
