Muscles in Motion Equine Massage LLC Muscles in Motion Equine Massage aims to provide clients with quality massages. Corine and Jess became certified equine massage therapists in 2016.

The modalities we practice include: craniosacral therapy, myofascial release therapy and sports massage. We have certain goals in mind when working with horses. Through massage we aim to release excess tension, hydrate muscle tissue for ease of movement, and provoke muscle relaxation to increase range of motion in the joints.

When I’m not massaging horses, I love to spend time with my own animals. I have two goofy dogs and two horses. My time is best spent spoiling my senior citizen, Beau, or hitting the trails on my little guy, Junior.

This week we will learn more about Corine O’Donnell, CEMT

I have shared my life with animals for as long as I can remember. I started riding horses when I was six years old. My passion for horses only grew more when I got my handsome Quarter Horse, Beau. It was a no-brainer for me that my career would involve horses. I graduated from Centenary University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science. The summer after graduation, I completed the six-week equine massage certification course, Art of Equine Massage and Bodywork, in Colorado.

When I am not massaging, I love to spend time with my friends and family. At home I have a cat named Kitkat who is very silly and that I love to cuddle! I also ride my buckskin Quarter Horse mare named Latte. Latte and I have competed through beginner-novice level eventing.

Lets get to know our massage therapists!!
This week we will learn more about Jessica Nunn, CEMT.

I grew up in Somerset County, New Jersey and started riding horses when I was eight years old. Every summer the most common place you could find me was at the barn. I first got interested in equine massage after doing a presentation on equine rehabilitation and massage for my 4H club. I graduated Centenary University in 2016, with a bachelor’s degree in Equine Science. After graduation, I traveled to Colorado and attended a 6-week equine massage certification program, Art of Equine Massage and Bodywork.

Releasing tension in tight muscles and loosening stiff joints makes for a very happy horse. Here is Cassie thoroughly enjoying her massage. Licking and chewing, as well as yawning, are signs that the horse is releasing extra tension that was being held in tight muscles.

Treat your horse to a massage this holiday season! With winter comes chilly weather and more stall time for horses, which can make for a stiff body. This cutie is Cassie, thanking Corine for her massage! Cassie's stocking up issue in her back legs has been kept at bay with monthly massages and she's feeling great this winter!
