Saturday, December 30: anytime before 2pm

Dogs: $20, or if you have multiple pets, it will be $20 for the first and $15 for each additional pet.
$30 for difficult nail trims (could take awhile to accomplish, but as long as you and our pet are willing, I will take my time.. but some pets like this are better with a chill protocol from your vet).

Cats: $15

I will take my time to learn what works best for your pet. Sometimes, it's as simple as extra treats to keep them entertained. 😊

I will have you fill out a client form (just a one time thing), so I can keep up with all my clients/patients with no hassle.

✨️Attention all pet owners in or near Blountsville, AL:

As most of you know, I am a vet assistant. I am looking into making some extra money by trimming dog 🐕/cat 🐈 nails on the side. It would be Wednesdays and some Saturdays (after 12) only. I still have to purchase everything I will need to do it, but I'm reaching out to see if anyone would be interested.
Prices will be $20 for dogs, $15 for cats, and $15 for each additional pet (for instance, if you have 3 pets, the first will be $20, every pet after that will be an additional $15). $30 for difficult nail trims. Depending on how things go, prices may change, possible discounts available for referrals in the future. I will have muzzles in various sizes if needed, quick stop in case something happens (because no matter how long you have cut nails or how experienced you are, accidents still happen), slip leads, and TREATS (cat treats, milkbones/squeeze cheese). I will be by myself, so I will need my potential clients to be capable of holding. If you can't help restrain, please have someone available to help. All animals are different. Some do really well, some are just wiggly, and some react. I will use a muzzle if need be, for my safety, as well as your pet's and yourself. If I cannot complete the nail trim, or if you are uncomfortable with the use of a muzzle, I will stop. You can talk to your vet about chill protocol to help your pet the next time. I want this to be a good experience for everyone.

First and most important, all pets MUST be up to date on their rabies vaccine. I am doing this not only for a little extra income, but mainly to help those that cannot get their pets to a vet every month just for nail trims. Doing this also means that your pet is more comfortable being at home instead of an unknown place, causing anxiety. I have a family to care for, and no amount of money will justify getting bit and risking my health.
Please make sure your pets are caught up on at least their rabies vaccine. I love what I do, but I will not take the risk.
Second, I will need all potential clients to fill out a form (I will have one printed before I start appointments). This will include your name, address, phone number, pet information, and behavioral notes. I want to know everything about your pet. Are they okay with strangers? Does it take time for them to adjust? Have they had their nails trimmed before, and if so, how did they react? Are they reactive? Aggressive? Any bite history? Are there areas of their body they don't like to be touched? I need to know. The more I know, the better the experience for me, your pets, and yourself.
And again, muzzles are sometimes needed. Not only to keep myself, you, and your pet safe, but sometimes, a muzzle is enough to stop your pet from reacting.

If you would be interested, just let me know.

Please share with your family and friends if you are interested. I will have forms printed out soon.

I enjoy what I do and I want the best possible experience for you and your pets.

Thank you in advance. I hope you all have a great day.
