We will be doing day 4 raffle basket around 5PM this evening. It’s gonna be the Pirate dog toy basket and the Midnight Rendezvous basket, which is full of wine and chocolates and other goodies! She’s nicely trained and pretty low-maintenance. She doesn’t care for most other dogs but loves people, snacks, silky blankies, and her babies (stuffed toys)

** **UPDATE: 10/1/24 - 5PM: Lil Moonshine had her big surgery. She’s recovering well and we have a wonderful team taking care of her and a foster lined up. She had a large fistula that needed to be repaired, she lost several teeth and part of her tongue, and a possible small fracture in a bone in her sinus which they chose to leave be because it will likely heal on its own since she’s a puppy rather than going through a massive massive surgery to repair it. We are hoping for a full recovery for this little girl. The surgery is going to be pretty costly. We don’t have the total yet, but we’ll post it as soon as we do. ***
**UPDATE: 10/1/24 - 8:11AM: Moonshine, our tiny warrior, has made it through the night and is stable! ❤️🌻 HUGE Thanks to our girl, Tracy Mollura Erickson, who monitored her ALL night and provided care to keep her body temp and glucose regulated. She’ll likely be off to surgery today. We’ll update as the day goes on.
Tonite we welcome little Moonshine to Pit Crew. We took her on because we couldn’t let a 6 week old puppy die. She was attacked by a large dog and her teeth and gums were ripped away from the top of her mouth - amazingly, she doesn’t appear to have any fractures. But, she’s going to need surgery in the morning. She has a lot of swelling in her face and throat, but is currently stable. Pray she makes it through the night and can have surgery in the morning. Please, if anyone can donate to her care, we are going to need all of the help we can get. We are not sure which Vet hospital will be doing her surgery yet. We won’t know that until the morning - one of two different places. The Vets will all be talking in the morning, examining her, looking over x-rays and making that decision. Please donate to help us save little Moonshine! She was almost euthanized tonight due to lack of funds, and lack of ability to find anyone who could do the surgery.
