Wiggle & Thump

There is a giant hole in our hearts and our home. We said goodbye to Grouper, the Thump to our Wiggle, yesterday and our hearts are broken. Although we felt like we were living off borrowed time as it was, it did not make it any easier. 10 years was not enough.

We now know that it’s true: the giant breed and difficult ones hold a special, irreplaceable part of your heart. We will forever miss his heavy head laying on our chests, the thump of his tail on the floor, his giant body pillow snuggles, walking into our bedroom to see him sprawled out across our bed, his undeniable love for us, and the smile he brought to so many people’s faces just from seeing him.

Grouper taught us so much about being an advocate for your dog. While a lot of you were never able to meet him in person, his love for his pack was strong. And, if you were one of the lucky ones to be a part of it, thank you.

We are thankful to have so many amazing memories of this big guy to reflect on and we plan to continue honoring him through this platform. While he may not be here anymore, his inspiration behind this brand will never be lost.

We love you Grouper and will miss you terribly. Life won’t be the same without you. 💔 🌈
