Asher is equal parts affectionate and feisty. He loves to cuddle and sit on laps, and you can hear his purrs from across the room. He’s playful, fearless, and full of mischief. Asher gets along with humans of all ages, other cats and dogs. He is a busy boy and anyone would be lucky to call him theirs!

Until we do something to stop the source of all the dogs, until there is accountability over the abuse and abandonment, we will eternally clean up the mess. Year after year after year. Decade after decade nothing changes. Our laws and our society have to wake up and start at the cause.

Chloe came to us needing a surgery to - ahem - *earmuffs kids - how to put this gently - create more of an opening in the skin in her lady parts which naturally grew stuck together. This would have caused her a life of chronic UTIs/other infections. She's healthy now, and a very good adoptable dog!!!!

Surprise - meet Chris our Christmas Eve Cat!

Found stray Christmas Eve - set for neuter and will be adoptable in about a week - he's located closer to Kalamazoo so please share with anyone a little further south - or the foster can drive him up here too if we find a home up north in GR.

$267 back from Plainfield today. We owe a huge thank you to Laura H for doing all of these returns (really all of Plainfield’s can returns for weeks now). Sure is nice having help!

Paying a 2k plus bill tomorrow for all the surgeries last week. Soon as they are healed up Digger Finn and Chloe will be up for adoption. Assuming it works out well, Tw***ie is going home with a prior adopter and will have a Mosh Pit Brother! A partner in pittie chihuahua crime. 🤣🩷😃

Cheers to another year fighting for change that never seems to appear.

Cheers to cleaning up the mess until our laws change and humanity does better. Until then decade after decade, we will help the ones we can.

Big day!!!!

Chloe, Finn, Digger and Tw***ie all had various surgeries today. Neuters, a spay, some retained teeth and Chloe’s high maintenance lady parts all cleaned up today.

All 4 will be up for adoption as soon as they are recovered!
