Tis the season. 🥺😭

All money currently available - for at least the next month or two - going to help vet 3 mamas and 15 kittens that were going to be abandoned outside when their irresponsible owner moved out.

A volunteer’s granddaughter stepped in and called us unsure what to do - she just knew they couldn’t be left outside to further the cycle.

Current estimate for spay/neuter is $1,500 at CSnip - but that will jump up as we add on microchips, fecals, vet appts asap for the goopy eyes and flea treatment.

Another week, another bill paid!!!!

Do what you can - donate - volunteer - cans - share posts - the little things add up and it sure makes a difference for the ones we can help.

Current money going to weekly bandage changes for Dixie the Corgi - we’re trying to save the leg! After proper diagnosis and reading we decided with our vet that it was worth splinting vs amputation so fingers crossed there!!

Good luck today Louie!!

The trifecta.

Removing retained teeth, neuter and removal of a previously broken leg unable to be set or fixed alternatively.

Will be a 2,000 dog by the time we’re done. We so appreciate the donations of cans, money, and time that allow us to do these surgeries for these doggies. 💕

Scooter had her spay/dental today and is recovering at her forever home. She has been adopted by a family able to care for her properly. ❤️🙌🏻.

New kid. ❤️❤️. Meet Louie. You can’t really see it in the picture, but this dude has a broken front leg that needs removed. Soon to be a tripod. Surgery the 29th. He’s such a fun dog. So much personality.

So many chihuahuas with broken legs. 😭. But we’re doing what we can to help the ones we can. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕

We had to push the dental/spay back for this little one. She has kennel cough and needs to heal up. Rescheduled for end of April so keep the cans a-coming 45$ went back yesterday and it’s all adding up!! 💕❤️

Cans back for Scooter!!!! Adding up a bunch of little donations and bags of cans, we are funding little dog that could together - Scoot Baby will get the help you need!!

Got to meet this little fighter finally today. What’s just nuts - if you’re just holding her you can’t really tell anything is wrong. But then you put her down and her back legs are literally on backwards. It’s wild to see in real life.

She’s happy. Friendly. Spunky. Gets around shockingly well. Wants to live and be loved. Removing the legs won’t cause any improvement to her quality of life so as of now they stay.

Spay and dental scheduled. All fundraising right now going to Miss Scooter.

She does have feeling in her feet.

Meet Scooter! Ooooooof is this one a doozie.

When we saw her at Calhoun we knew we could help. Obviously her legs are - well - ugh.

The initial question was - can she have quality of life. X-rays and discussions later we have some answers. Wheelchairs go forward and back but don’t corner well. There is something called a “scoot chute” where they can scoot around in “pants”.

We just happen to know a seamstress who can make Scooter custom clothes.

She needs a spay and a dental and an owner who wants to carry her around.

This one’s going to be a biggie financially but we will get it done.

Super nice day = everyone brought cans today YAY! We emptied the bin twice!

These will go back Wednesday and will be used help someone who reached out to us needing financial assistance to neuter their dog. ❤️💕

We can’t always help - but sometimes we can and this time we could.

If everyone does a little, it adds up to a lot.
