Just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to everyone this week for your understanding with classes and walking schedules. Turns out the one thing that can take me from 100mph to zero, in 6hours flat, and keep me there for several days, is food poisoning. THAT was not very much fun at all. Getting back on track, started some walks on Wednesday, will do some more today. Classes are on as scheduled (had to cancel Monday). I have some of THE BEST dogs on the planet who were content to be the 'best dogs ever' while I was under the weather. We are all ready to get back to being active. So, in the spirit of wellness, do something fun with your dog(s) today!

In case you are wondering what the "more rambunctious" group looks like, here's a glimpse 🤣

For the younger, more shy, less rambunctious, pups there is one space. For the older, bigger, more energetic, more rambunctious puppies, there is another space. Safety is always our number 1 priority. We want puppies to have a positive experience at puppy play groups. Thanks again everyone for attending on Saturday ~ the more the merrier! 🐾🐾 ❤️ 🐾🐾 Dogzausted. If you have pictures from play groups you'd like to share, add them to the comments below!

Waited until sun went down, wind picked up, still warm but not like in the heat of the day. If the heat is to much, teach some new skills inside, in the cool of the A/C. 🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾 Dogzausted!

I posted a video last night about the beginning of "come when called" with Willow. That original video was recorded in March of 2022. Here's what that practice turned into. Recorded this video last night. No long line but we've still got treats and wide open spaces. It's a skill like any other, it needs practice - It's worth your effort! 🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾 Dogzausted!

Loose leash walking. Talking to him or making noise BEFORE he gets to far out in front of me. Keeping engaged. Treats, of course, for a small job (walking 10-12 feet) done well. We start with small steps of progress and build on the little steps. Practice makes... skills better!
