Fabulous afternoon at Wellington with Cola who felt really good today. Some errors in the first test left us on 67.75 which I was very pleased with, but the second test was even better, scoring 73.22% with an error of course! Lots of 7.5s and 8s and starting to find her balance. Lovely comments from the judge 😁🎉🎊

Could not be more pleased with my Cola Cube today - first trip to merrist wood and she behaved like a star! She was so scared of the indoor arena that the steward had to lead me in, but despite the tension she tried her hardest with no explosions! Oh and the icing on the cake - 2 qualifying scores and a win in both classes 🎊🎉❤️

Keystone For Real retires!
This week not only did Really turn 19 but I rode him for the very last time 😪 We celebrated his career with a little party on Wednesday giving me a chance to say thanks to the amazing people who have looked after him:
Jane Foster, a massive part of his life for well over a decade, looking after him and helping with his fitness and schooling.
Sally Mathews, wessex chiropractic and Ruth Bryant massage therapist who took care of his body, taking time to get to know his quirky ways and mistrust of anyone he doesn't know.
Tonya willingham who supervised his time on the water treadmill, gaining his trust and working with us for his strength and fitness.
Suzanne crockford who came to so many shows with us, sharing those special moments and prize-givings!
Angela Harwood Reiki master who often 'had a word with him' prior to out big events, although I don't think he ever listened 🤣
Richard Vile whitchurch equine vets who helped manage that pesky fetlock and Scott Saunders , my brilliant farrier.
My amazing trainer Nicola Buchanan was also there having been my trainer for 13 years and helping me to achieve things I never even dreamed of.
The horse of a lifetime, he deserves to live out his retirement in a field just being a horse ❤️❤️❤️
