His rescuer sought treatment and the leg has fully healed. At the time of veterinarian treatment, it was learned Sora is FIV+ but does not exhibit any illness because of the virus - he is currently healthy. Because of the over population of cats in Japan his rescuer reached out to FIV rescues in the U.S. to try to find him a safe have in the States. It was through a posting by one of the sanctuari
es that I saw his photo and read his story. It was two months in the initial planning stages, but on December 10, 2016, Sora arrived in Charleston, South Carolina. Sora will be screened by a local veterinarian (he was fully vetted by his rescuer in Japan) and a temporary foster resident at hthe Dew Drop Inn. Once Sora has recovered from his journey to the States and I can see his true personality for some time, he will then be promoted on Adopt Charleston Cats until he finds his forever loving family or guardian. Meanwhile, this page will be the where I post most of his pictures and life's achievements in foster care. Hope you visit often and enjoy. Mary Beth
