Peppertree Cottage is our slice of paradise in the beautiful Taranaki region of New Zealand. Many farm animals and pets call our riverside farm-let home and they are all loved members of our family. French Bulldogs @ Peppertree Cottage follows our beautiful NZKC registered Frenchies and their successes in everyday life, showing and breeding. Once you let a Frenchie into your heart, you can't help but become obsessed. They have funnny and full-of-life personalities but are just as happy lying about being couch potatoes. Their muscular, stocky bodies and squishy little faces make them a dog that stands out in the crowd and before long no one can resist kissing their cute little noses. At Peppertree our priority is to breed happy puppies with good temperaments, that live long and healthy lives and are true to the breed standard. We will have a limited number of puppies available to pet homes from time to time. Our puppies only go to the BEST of homes that can provide a LIFETIME of love, attention & security. Please private message with any puppy enquiries and we can go through the necessary steps to get you on the waiting list and match you with your perfect puppy. The health and welfare of our animals and those we breed is our upmost priority. All our breeding animals are DNA tested for genetic diseases (DM, PRA, CMR, Canine Hyperuricosuria and Herediitary Cataracts) and are clear of the undesirable chocolate/brown and blue/grey genes. They also receive a full physical pre-breeding health evaluation on their spines, hearts, hips, patellas and airways to ensure we make responsible and ethical breeding decisions.
We are also proud to rear our puppies using the Puppy Culture program. We think proper early socialisation is essential to set them and their new family up for a lifetime of happiness and sucess. Also working as a dog walker and pet sitter, I have a keen interest in dog behaviour and positive, reward-based training methods and offer a lifetime of support and advice to our Peppertree Puppy Homes. We also love to get out and show our dogs when we get a chance and record their successes in the Photo Album - Show Results. Our kennel and dogs are also profiled on dogzonilne.co.nz.
