Message from Owner: My sweet parakeet Kiwi flew off and is currently missing. He is a small, bright yellow/green bird and typically respond to his name “Kiwi”. He’s very sweet and social, but probably scared.
Kiwi is extremely special to me — I rescued him 2 years ago after finding him hiding in a bush trying to stay warm in the freezing December cold. He’s my first bird and has become such a big part of my life. I’m heartbroken and worried sick about my little guys safety, especially in this extreme heat as parakeets aren’t built to survive outdoors in these temps.

Description: Small bright yellow and green parakeet. Blue beak. Has a little metal bracelet with numbers on it.

Description: Suzu is blind in both eyes. When we met her, she might have been a little wary, but after petting her, she became very friendly. She always finds her way , but didn't come back after 18 hours. One of her legs might be injured because she was attacked not too long ago by a dog that wasn't on a leash.

Description: Tan with white on chest and paws. Looks half pit. Friendly I have small dogs and when I let them out he flinches at them and backs up off fence. Seems like a big ol' baby. I know the shelters are full and euthanizing so I don't know what to do. Hopefully his owners see this post.

This little cutie-patootie followed one of our employees back to our shop on W ENON AVE while on a morning exercise walk on MONDAY.

We immediately called Everman Animal Control, and asked them to stop by. I told them that we would be happy to take care of her while we were looking for her family. They scanned her for a chip, but she doesn't have one. The shelter was full, but I didn't want her to be in that environment if she didn't have to be! We've given her a bath so she would be comfortable.

I think she is 2-4 years old. She is in good shape. She is being well cared for and played with. She spends her evenings at home with my pack and me. I am on the neighborhood app and live in 76133 area off of Columbus Trail.

She comes to work with me every day here in Everman, just in case we find her family during that business day.

I think that it is more than possible that she got away from her family and home because fireworks were scaring her. She was wet and dirty and muddy when she came into my office, but that is only because we had had bad weather for those few days. We've given her a bath so that she would be more comfortable!
I knew Everman Animal Control would be swamped with lost and found dogs and cats in the days after the weekend of all of the fireworks! They were very glad that I was able to take care of her while looking for her family. They took pictures of her so they would have them on file. Josh is the wonderful young man from Everman Animal Control and checked for a chip and took her picture.

They can be reached through the police department in Everman at: 817–293–2923. You can let them know that you were calling about the Yorkie dog that was found, and Josh was the officer that is helping with her.

You can most certainly call me. But, we will need to go through Everman Animal Shelter to prove who she is and to whom she belongs. I so hope that we find her family. However, she has a home with my dogs and me, so don't worry about her welfare! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Message from Owner: My Willow has been missing since June I posted pictures in the neighborhood on the mailboxes and in the neighborhood out so far nothing. This was my daughter's cat that I have been taking care of for the last year and a half she never leads the yard she's too scared to. People say a hawk or coyote may have gotten her I just can't imagine that because I have two other cats and they are here. Please if anyone knows or her whereabouts Please let me know.
