The story of the boy that disappeared one late summers day, when the wind changed direction continues .. the black and white terrier that they found gives much comfort. 🐾🐾Even though her parents also become AWOL, young Sally believes her twin must be close by. The Plod are as useful as her cocktail mixing immediate neighbour-the super glam resident of many, many decades of indiscernible years. Every person that’s gone next door has not come back. Scottish Gran is now on board and is about to go round & tackle the neighbours. Sally also wants to go but is being told to stay with Lucky - the Boy turned Black & White Fox Terrier . What Scottish Gran doesn’t know is what exactly is being made in the basement next door & is about to find out that there are many more cats on Albert street than there were when Boris the mog first arrived. Let’s hope she doesn’t use the door knocker & tries the bell instead, unlike unlucky Luke. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🧚🏽‍♀️

Champion deeds …

I shall
Gather up
All the lost souls
That wander this earth
All the ones that are alone
All the ones that are broken
All the ones that never really fitted in
I shall gather them all up
And together we shall find our home
A little poem written by Athey Thompson
Taken from A Little Book Of Poetry

This picture is of Camberley Kate, who was well known in Camberley as the lady who would wander the streets with her “stray dogs” cart and gather up all the waifs and strays. It is said that during her life she rescued and gave a loving home to over 600 homeless dogs.
Today, I’m honouring this inspirational lady who devoted her life to saving dogs. And what a legacy she did leave behind, and to all the animals, we must be kind.
