We had to do a a day early just for Halloween.
Enjoy the night but keep your pets safe and secure. Before dark, check all gates and doors, if possible use baby gates to deter door darters. A quieter space or room with calming music and a tasty, stuffed frozen Kong may help relieve doorbell stress.

Last night was graduation for our Sunday class. Let’s gives big shout out to all the teams. (Not pictured- good boy George.)

Pattern games for the win! Watch how Nelson stayed focused on his mom by playing the Up Down game while Hank Von Voight worked on the 1-2-3 game. I’m so very proud of them both and of their moms.

This big boy, Hank Von Voight, is only six months old but already such a good worker. Here we are practicing Zen, leave it, impulse control. #fearfreedogtraining #relationshipbuilding #GSD

Hey Peaceabull people! Check out our sweet friend Tater with the new enrichment toy her crafty mom made! Tater likes to be busy and needs to have her mind challenged a lot and accordingly she loves this new gadget. Instructions are in the comments.

Ready for puppy class

Getting set up for Puppy class. We use pods with enrichment to give our students more agency to explore and use their senses while learning. The pods allow for more engagement and less stress.

Notice the difference in her body language with each of the three passes at the cardboard form in the foreground and how her confidence emerges.

Dinner engagement with Julius

We had to skip our evening walk due to the weather, so I set up dinner in the round with various enrichment activities. Julius is a dainty eater so the video is a bit lengthy.
