Look what we found yesterday! In August, we did a shoot for Tiki Cat with 5 of Freya’s 7 kittens when they were approximately 8 weeks old for their new line of Baby Cat products. Frankly, not sure which of the 5 this one is - I think one of the boys - Gandalf, Sammy, or Jasper. At that time I really needed the colored paper collars to tell them apart if they weren’t in a group. And yes, I have tried the product - they gobbled it up on set and they gobbled up what the folks from Tiki Pet were kind enough to send home with them. Very gentle on their tummies which is what we look for in any of the kitten foods we feed. This was prerelease so they had to go back to their prior diet when it was gone. Thanks again, Got Pet-ential Animal Talent and Tiki Pets, for the opportunity!

No show this weekend, but we keep the socialization going with Sammy. Working on harness training while at my daughter and her family’s home. Not a care in the world…he’s quite enjoying the visit.

Yes! Our cat can!

Here’s our recent graduate Cyberkoshki Taste of Honey (aka Hunny) sitting on dancer Lauren’s foot staring calmly at the flashing camera and trainer Trish Seifried, who can get our Siberians to do just about anything for a treat! Hunny was about three months old at the time, and this was not her first modeling job. She went to her new home shortly after this photo shoot - and her new human companion called her “fearless and outgoing” a few days ago. While we don’t always get the opportunity to get our young kittens out like this, we do try to get them as many new experiences as possible. There is no substitute for exposing a young kitten to as many new positive new experiences as possible to socialize them, inside and outside the home. Victoria Hollowell CatBoss TV Cat Training

From left to right - Rudra, Buttercup, Willow, Hunny, and Sampson. Melt my heart. 3+ months old, All but Sampson going to their new homes this week, though Hunny will be hanging out at shows from time to time with brother Sampson. Brothers Gandalf and Jasper went to their homes in Tennessee this Saturday. Always a bittersweet moment - thankful to be placing such wonderful kittens in great homes where we know they will be adored and well cared for, but we will miss their purrs and playful good nature.

My friend, Trisha Seifried, and I spotted this 4-5 month old feral kitten outside a restaurant Saturday night. After 3 cans of cat food and about an hour of coaxing, the kitten ran off. Trish went back with a trap yesterday and was able to trap him in a few minutes. His/her vet appointment is Wednesday. If healthy and able to be domesticated it will be available to a loving home. If you are interested in adopting this kitten when he/she is ready for a new home please PM me. Would prefer someone in metro St. Louis area.

This kitten and the millions like him are the primary reason we do not generally sell cats for breeding unless you are an established breeder or willing and committed to being mentored on how to be a responsible breeder. Being a responsible breeder means that you are willing and able to make sure no cat you allow to be brought into this world ends up on the street or shelter, no matter what the cost - that you carefully select the families for your kittens and cats, and will take back any kitten or cat so they do not end up like this. I firmly believe that there is a place for responsible breeding - responsible breeders preserve the diversity of the cat world and ensure healthy, happy pets are placed in good homes, but I also am advocate for rescues. I had rescues or “oops” kittens only for 30 years until allergies became a thing in my household and got we got our first Siberian. Please, folks, spay or neuter your pets as soon as they are old enough and NEVER let your animal run free on the streets. No domestic animal deserves to be this scared and this hungry.

Trainer Allie Fekete and Owner/Head Trainer Trisha Seifried of holding two kittens from our current litter at their very first commercial shoot at a studio in downtown St.Louis for a popular cat food brand! The kittens and crew were absolutely awesome and ROCKED the shoot doing what kittens do best - eating and playing, oblivious to the new people, place, and flashing camera. We like to expose our kittens to as many new experiences as possible after their first vaccines so they learn to be comfortable in new places and new people when they go to their new homes! Can’t wait to show you the final results! Thanks for the opportunity and .tv for teaching us how to prep the kittens for the opportunity!

We attended our first show of the 21-22 CFA show season with our 2 year old neuter PR Cyberkoshki Moon River, and he did not disappoint us. Jordan achieved Grand Premier status in only his second show in the neutered class. What made it particularly sweet is he earned it at the show produced by my own club, Midwest TGIF Fanciers, at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO, and officially crossed the threshold in the ring of Judge Iris Zinck, a good friend and fellow Siberian breeder. Jordan had competed some in Kitten class and Championship class before the pandemic struck, but until his first show in April as a neuter he had not been in a show ring in over a year. He showed he still knew what to do, and was called to 5 out of 6 judges’ finals in addition to earning his Grand Premier title.

Thursday is reveal day for Freya's June 15 (or thereabouts) litter! She goes in for her pre-natal checkup and we will find out how many new brothers and sisters Moose will be having! After we know how many to expect, I'll be contacting the people on the top of the waiting list to see if they are still interested.
