Kim, we are so sorry we have failed you. We promise we are trying. Please dont give up. Your smile is gone and your hope is lost, but please know we will keep pushing for you.

76 of them made comments & FB said 38K people were reached. We had high hopes as one lady drove from North Carolina to meet you, but you had scratched a sore onto your neck and she was put off by that. We assured her it was probably just heat & stress related & would be gone in a few weeks. She left without you as a result & our hearts broke as we walked you back to your kennel as you turned & watched her leave. Somehow you knew she was supposed to take you home. You resisted going back and tears rans down our cheeks. You didnt eat that night or the next so we became concerned. A volunteer took you for a slumber party to cheer you.
We are glad you got your appetite back & we as a team will try to restore your hope & faith in humans. At just a lil over a year old, you have so much life ahead of you sweet girl. We are going to put your picture when you used to smile in the comments so everyone can see your beautiful face and maybe your person will be out there.

*You guys please help Kim. Share her far & wide. She has been in this kennel almost a year now. Kim's adoption fee has been paid by two generous donors. (Thank you Ellen & Zak). She is located in Macon, GA. Kim is completley vetted. No cats and best as only dog as she plays to aggressively with other dogs which can turn into a fight.

An unusual friendship developed between a raccoon and a fawn who are both orphans and have been rescued by and live at Texas Fawn and Friends Sanctuary. The two are in each other's company every day without fail, and they even lay by each other in the evenings. ❤️
