We are devastated to share that sweet Mango passed away yesterday.  Mango has been with us since 2021 when she was about 6 months old.  She’s grown up with our own pups, Augusta and Aberdeen, and she’s grown with us as we grew our business.  Mango was one of the happiest dogs in the world, she loved playing in the pools and hanging out with her pals – you would have never known she was struggling with kidney disease. The last year with Mango, we shifted our focus from training to one main goal – making sure she was able to squeeze every last bit of joy out of life.  This is the hardest part of our job but we are honored to have had this sweet girl in our lives. Mango will be deeply missed and we are heartbroken for her parents – sending so much love to them during this time and always.

The holidays are coming, can you believe it?! We still have a few spots left for Thanksgiving boarding and friendly reminder we are also open for daycare that day if you’d like to have your pup spend the day with us while you cook and/or entertain! We love Halloween at Fountain Square Dog Training! Seeing all the dogs in costume is so much fun and this time of year is such a great opportunity for training. All the decorations you see in our yard are intentional and used to desensitize the dogs to common triggers they may see out in the neighborhood. We are working on counter conditioning by incorporating fun activities with these “spooky” triggers 👻. It’s so much fun we celebrate all month long!

🌈The training center will be closed beginning Saturday, June 1st through Monday, June 10th to celebrate PRIDE!  Pride is very important to us here at FSDT and we are proud to be an inclusive workplace and business where all who interact with us can feel safe, welcome, and supported. 🌈We hope you enjoy the Pride gift and special pictures this month in the “Pride 2024” album on Flickr. We will also be sharing the photos on our Instagram and Facebook throughout the month. 🌈The training center will reopen Tuesday, June 11th.  🌈
