This week the puppies have been mainly eating puppy porridge (otherwise known as gruel, moistened puppy food)

Sadly our Beautiful Baby Girl has passed,
After facing issues with her cervix not dilating, the vets were forced to give her a cesarian, complications meant they had to give her a full hysterectomy,
She had 7 beautiful pups, unfortunately the surgery left her very anemic (as studies show a cesarian hysterectomy removes 60% of the blood)
She was struggling to consume any food or to keep down the pain killers/antibiotics.
Anemia left her without apertite, physically weak, etc disadvantaging her attempt to recover from this major surgery and unable to care for her beautiful new born bubbas.

Through help with friends and family we found ways to help her consume liquified food and this morning felt she was showing signs of getting better feeling realistic hope for recovery, with a vet check up booked for tomorrow.

Sadly this was not the case, as she has unfortunately left us,
Missing her madly and so sorry for her that she didn’t get the chance to be the wonderful Mum we all knew she would be. (Babying our boy dog was the closest she got).
