Coming up to Christmas this is important for anyone thinking of getting or giving a pet as a gift to read this.
Please please please consider rescuing a pet before buying 🙏

When did a pet become a disposable item?

What sort of example are we giving to our children and future generations when the family pet can be so easily disposed of.

We've heard it all...I just can't look after him anymore. She's getting too big. I didn't realised it would be so much work. I don't have the time for him and it's not fair on him. She's not toilet trained. She shed's too much. I can't afford to get her groomed. I'm allergic. She's digging up the garden. He's too strong on the lead. I can't afford a vet. She tried to bit me. We're moving and can't take him with us. He's not good with other dogs. She growled and now I don't trust her around my kids...

They will love you for their whole lives and you must do the same for them.

Owning a pet is a huge commitment and not one to be made on a whim or because the kids want one. It is YOUR responsibility to be a responsible pet owner. You must care for your pet and plough through the tough times and not give up on them at the first hurdle.

We are sad to hear that a number of rescues have had to close their doors recently due to overcrowding. Please pause and think long and hard before you bring a pet into your life and make sure you can invest in training and socialisation, it is so important. Read the link below and ask yourself, "Are You Ready For A Pet?" before you do. If you are not in a position to treat them like a valued family member, then it's simple, do not get one. If you are always Adopt Don't Shop.

Going to leave this post here with the most common Q&As, I hope you find this info useful 💁‍♀️

📍Do you take new customers?
2022 is fully booked but I will have some openings for new customers in January 2023. Send me a message with your name, phone number and dog's breed/age if you'd like to be added to the waitlist.

📍Where do you keep dogs for overnight stays?
All dogs stay with me in my own house.

📍Do you take all dogs?
This place is for small/medium size dogs only. All dogs have to be up to date with all their vaccines including kennel cough. Spayed/ neutered dogs only ( no exceptions).

📍Do you take cats?
No, sorry! But do send me a message if you looking for a place for your cat and I will send you some contacts 😉

📍What are your prices?
Doggie daycare is €20/ day per dog and € 17/ each for two or more dogs from the same house.
Overnight stay is € 25/ 24 hours per dog and € 20/ each for two or more dogs from the same house ( daycare charges may apply if after the 24-hour period for the day of collection).
Grooming prices all vary & pricing list is available upon request.

📍What are your business hours?
Doggie Daycare is open Mon- Tue & Thurs - Fri from 7.30 am until 6pm.
ALL daycare/ boarding drop&collect times are 7.30am- 9am and 4pm-6pm.
NO DAYCARE OR DROP&COLLECT ON WEDNESDAYS.

📌 DAYCARE DROP & COLLECT TIMES 7.30am-9am and 4pm-6pm
Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri.
📌BOARDING DROP & COLLECT TIMES 7.30am-9am and 4pm-6pm Mon- Tue, Thur-Sun.
📌 NO DROP & COLLECT OR DAYCARE ON WEDNESDAYS

This might mean that you have to book a day before or after. All dogs staying here they will be well looked after as on any other day so no need to get someone to collect them. I will try to be as flexible as possible but if you could work around these times that would be fantastic!
I am a person as well as business, i have my own family and after 5.5 yrs working 24/7 on my own i would like to enjoy one day a week undisturbed.

Winnie has gone off on trial to a super home this evening!!!!

Sadly we have had no enquiries about Winnie. She is approximately five years old, neutered, vaccinated, and chipped, pretty good on the lead, appears to be housetrained, and would require a quiet home perhaps as a companion for somebody older.

☘️❤️☘️ Thank you all very much who donated and purchased St Patricks Day Dog Bandanas☘️❤️☘️

The final figure came to an amzing€500! 🥰 Thank you thank you thank you❤️

The original idea was to collect money & donate to Irish Red Cross to help 🇺🇦 However, in the middle of the collection, the opportunity arrived to help two lovely ukrainian ladies Natalia & Lesia locally. So instead of sending money in to one account I decided to use it &help these ladies immediately 💙💛

The money was spent on:
✅ two flights from Poland to Dublin to get Natalias kids to safety
✅ phone card which is now paid for for at least six months so they always have access to internet and can always be in contact with their family and friends in Ukraine
✅ personal things & clothes
✅ food
✅ medicine

We had a very long day yesterday but it was amazing to watch how your donations brightened up their day. Such a small gesture made a huge difference in their world❤️

I also have to admit it was tough to listen to all the horror stories and learn about things what are happening in their country today💔They are smiling in these pics but in reality we shared more tears than laughter yesterday..

I want gently to invite everyone who wants to help ukrainians not only to drop a bag of stuff & leave but also if you can invite them out for a cuppa , maybe take them out on a shopping trip to a supermarket or show them around what a beautiful and safe place this Kingdom is… and listen..listen to them pouring out their heart,their pain, their feelings 🇮🇪
Because talking helps❤️

👏👏👏 Well done and thanks a million to all of you who donated and showed support to Ukraine 🇺🇦👏👏👏

Oh. My.God! You guys are simply the best! Just in two days you all came together and donated 72 BOXES of food, medical supplies, hygiene supplies , baby food, nappies, wipes, toys, pet food, blankets, duvets and 52 BAGS of clothes💪 All is now sorted & sealed & delivered to ONeills Transport in Dromtacker. The truck is leaving on Friday so if anyone still wants to donate stuff you can take it directly to them 🚛 The last update is there is still need for baby bottles, soothers , baby food and fully charged power banks( some cities have no electricity now). For those who doesnt drive but want to donate you can always call me on 085 2137789 and ill call up to you to pick stuff up.
On the same note i also want to apologise to all who texted me in re to dog grooming & minding.. The last few days were extremely busy with very little sleep , food and free time. I will try to get back to everyone as soon as i can but if you dont hear anything from me by the end of the week give me a call/text again🙏
Thats it for now folks- thanks again for everything you did! Pizza now and early bed for me and tomorrow ill have some news so stay tuned 💙💛

I usually try to avoid posting anything not related to my business & pets but this time is different..
This time i kindly ask everyone to help and stand with Ukraine🙏🇺🇦 It is heartbreaking to watch a beautiful country be under attack for no reason..

Myself together with the Lithuanian & Polish community in Waterford are organizing humanitarian help for Ukraine and asking all people to donate :

* first aid kit - bandages, plasters, burn gels, painkillers( paracetamol ), gloves, face masks, tourniquets, antiseptic wipes/cream etc...
* dry food like pasta, noodles etc
*hygiene products like toothbrushes, toothpaste, sanitary pads, baby nappies etc
* towels, duvets, sleeping bags, thermal blankets etc
* clothes for kids and adults like waterproof jackets, shoes, tracksuits etc..

Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏
Everything will be shipped on 4th March so we only have a few days and must act fast

If any of you can help in any way, please contact me on 0852137789 or message me here ill gladly come to pick up all items and take them to Waterford next week 🇺🇦 🇮🇪 🇱🇹
