Lost my beautiful baby Cameo this morning. Heartbroken doesn't even begin to describe it.
One thing I've learnt in animal rescue is that your heart can take an astonishing number of breaks and then heal again. Maybe not quite as good as before - but enough to take on the next helpless rescue... (but please not any time soon!)
