Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I will not be attending this Sunday's Kamm's Corners Farmers Market on the 15th. I will, however, be back on the 22nd, with more DIY flower buckets so you can build your own bouquet! I had so much fun doing that with you all on the 1st.

Before that, I will be at Harvest Moon Makers Market on Saturday the 21st. While we're there, I'm offering you a delicious way to taste our herbs, with our fresh-baked herb breads. I guess you could say we'll be a "Flour & Herb Farm" for the day. 😉 Try out some slices in our personal-sized bakery treat bags and be sure to tell me which one you like best. 😋

Of course, we'll also have loads of other wonderful plant and herb products, and I'll be joined by my lovely friend Sunflower Wittchy. So many wonderful creators will be joining us for the market.

🌿🌱Can't wait to see you there. 🌿🌱

It may not be a plant, but it's still "homegrown" so to speak. 😉
Plus, there are so many flowers and plants on them. 🌸

I recently started up a Magic Meadows Etsy shop to list some of my handcrafted items and as a place where I can list future tea and spice blends for buyers outside of our local range. I'm starting it out with an adorable new art card series titled "The Magic of Flowers". If you've been wanting to support our farm and business, here's a great option to do so, regardless of how far from us you are located.

I will have prints of these available at events this fall, but if you want a specific character, buying online is your best way to ensure you get her. 🧙‍♀️ I will also have some male versions available in the near future, but I've started out with 13 lovely ladies! They are split between two listings below.

We wrapped up August with a great final market yesterday, and now I can't wait to tell you about my September plans. You'll find us at six fantastic events this month, but what I am most excited for are the two special collaborations I have coming up. Here's what you can expect from Magic Meadows in September.

Sunday, September 1st, 10am-1pm: We will be back at Kamm's Corners Farmers Market, but this time, with a twist! Stop by our tent for a special Build Your Own Bouquet event. There will be plenty of herbs and some planters as well. First come, first serve for flowers - we'll keep it going until we sell out of stems!

Saturday, September 7th, 1pm-7pm: I'll be joining Little Italy Artisan & Farmers Market once again, and I will have a few special surprises, including some beautiful red, white and green arrangements so you locals can show off your Italian pride in style. 🇲🇽

Sunday, September 15th, 10am-1pm: Join us for another Kamm's Corners Farmers Market. It's always a great time here.

Saturday, September 21st, 12pm-5pm: I'm heading out to The Busy Witch in Medina for their Harvest Moon Makers Market! My primary offering for this one will be a big selection of herbs, but we will also have some various flower and plant-related items and merch, including some new crazy creepy planters made in collaboration with my friend Sunflower Wittchy, who is joining me for this event with her hand-crafted plant and witchy items (wands, spell kits, homemade candles). We have something magical for everyone!

Sunday, September 22nd, 10am-1pm: Three Kamm's Corners Farmers Markets in a month? Yay!

Saturday, September 28th, 4pm-9pm: I'm heading way out to Oddmall's Haunted Hullabaloo at Ghoul Brothers in Akron for another super special event. I'll be vending this one alongside my *favorite* indie author, W. A. Rusho! Together, we're collaborating as Books and Bouqs! Picture it. You're in your macabre reading room, surrounded by dramatically dark flowers that would make Morticia Addams proud. Purple petals that evoke thoughts of hocus pocus. Blood red blooms that drip beauty into your surroundings. In your lap sits a delicious new horror novel for you to sink your fangs into... Ah, what bliss. If you guessed that I'll be debuting our 2024 Spookquets at this event, you'd be right! And W. A. Rusho has some fabulous books to check out - his Mystic Knights medieval fantasy series, books 1 and 2, and his latest horror/action release, Duty of an Undead Soldier. We'll also have some super spooky items we're hard at work on now. There will be something for everyone to make their dreary domicile a little bit spookier!

I told you it will be a great month. I hope to see you folks out there at these events!

There's been an update to our upcoming schedule, and we will no longer be at our previously scheduled Thursday market. However, we will have lots of great stuff available for you at this weekend's Little Italy Artisan & Farmers Market on Saturday from 1-7. I'm currently setting up a pre-order page for those of you wanting to secure certain herbs to make sure you get what you need. 😊 That should be set up by tomorrow afternoon. I hope to see many of you there!

I wish I had taken pictures during our pioneer posie building, but what an absolute blast we had at Third Thursday! Thank you again to Elyria Community Partnership for hosting this, and thank you to everyone who came out and participated. So many of you got flowers, and I hope you had as much fun as I did! Nearly every stem I brought was used. Next time, I need to bring more vases.

If you want to do some flower arranging with me, the next event I will have an interactive activity at will be Kamm's Corners Farmers Market on Sunday, September 1st. Same as this time, I'll offer multiple vase sizes and flowers will be priced per stem. I'll also have some fun extras to add in.

Saddle up, flower friends, because I have a super fun plan in the works for you all. As you know, I will be at Elyria Community Partnership's final Third Thursdays event this coming week. This month's theme is Pioneer Day, and boy, do I have some fun stuff planned!

Step into the Magic Meadows tent to be transported back in time to the Wild West, where the only thing wilder than our horses is our flowers! We will be setting up a Wildflower Wagon station where you can build-your-own Pioneer Posie! These little do-it-yourself arrangements are a fun activity for the whole family.

Go as small or as big as you want! We will have 2 vase sizes and flowers will be priced per stem. I'll also have lots of fresh herbs and more wood working items this time.

Update: Thursday Market we previously advertised is canceled this week due to yesterday's storms. Hope to see you Saturday!

We had quite a bit of flowers wiped out in the storms yesterday and power has finally been restored after 19 hours, but it could have been so much worse. I hope all of our flower friends and your families are ok!

🌸🌷🌺 Some of the flowers that snapped are salvageable, but since we cannot sell flowers until our Saturday event, we will just have to save what we can and call the rest a loss. Be a FLOWER HERO and come out to the Outdoor Market this weekend to help us keep these beauties that we are harvesting from going to waste, all while brightening your life with the boost that fresh flowers bring. 🌸🌷🌺

Thankfully, the only herbs damaged in the storms were some very tall ones that I was planning to harvest for roots soon anyway! Things can always be worse, and I'm always looking at the bright side. So come out and show me your bright faces at the markets this week. 😊

The weather held out for a perfect first garden party here at Magic Meadows and a fairytale farewell for a dear friend yesterday. Of course I had to send these beautiful flower girls home with bouquets, but only after they completed Michelle's Modeling Class 101 (see second picture 😂).

Thank you to my lovely friends Kimberly Hess (aka The Vanna White of Plant TV Interviews), Phoenix Crane (aka Soil Mover Extraordinaire), and Jamie Lynn Natole (aka Ms. Marketing Guru) for making it a special day.

Pictures simply don't do them justice. These mazurkia zinnia are quite possibly the most stunning variety I've laid eyes on, and certainly the most beautiful I've ever grown. Come see me at Kamm's Corners Farmers Market tomorrow morning from 10-1 for a chance to sn**ch some up in a bouquet this week!

Want to give yourself or a loved one a beautiful treat this week?

We have some extra lisianthus arrangements available this week, so we're offering them for Wednesday delivery in Lorain County. Two size options are available, a large vase (25+ blooms) or a standard wrap (approx. 15 blooms). Each size option is available in three color options.

Everything is locally and naturally grown right here in Lorain at Magic Meadows. These will be cut to order the morning of deliveries, so you will have the best vase life possible!

If you're unfamiliar with lisianthus, these stunning rose-like blooms have a vase life of up to 15 days when given the proper care.

Please note: Order cutoff is 10pm Tuesday.

Delivery (within Lorain County) is included in the price listed. You can place your order on our Squaresite here: https://magicmeadowsohio.square.site/shop/one-time-delivery/HLNRNSQAQ3BLQGYPDDEJ2D6O

Would you like a beautiful start to your week? We have some extra arrangements currently available here at Magic Meadows and are offering them for a Monday, July 15th delivery to Lorain County residents or businesses. Deliveries will take place between 4 and 7pm. We've extended the order cutoff to 1pm on Monday. Prices per product vary, and the delivery rate is $8 per order.

We grow locally in Lorain, offering you a beautiful mix of farm-fresh flowers. Why buy locally-grown flowers? Here are some facts from the organization "Grown Not Flown":
*The term "flower miles" is often used to highlight the environmental impact of transporting flowers over long distances, which includes the associated carbon emissions and overall carbon footprint.
**Buying locally supports local farmers, reduces the carbon footprint associated with flower imports (which some statistics show as nearly 80% of all American-sold flowers!), helps preserve biodiversity and local ecosystems, gives seasonal variety and unmatched freshness, and provides a personal connection with growers and nature.

If you see something you like, you can place your order in our Square shop: https://magicmeadowsohio.square.site/shop/one-time-delivery/HLNRNSQAQ3BLQGYPDDEJ2D6O

Don't forget that you can also stop out for a wider selection at our events this week. I'll be at Elyria's Third Thursdays in Ely square on Thursday and at Wellington's Garden Tour on Saturday!
