Hadley & Bear’s babies have completely stolen our hearts 💕They are the absolute sweetest puppies, & growing up so fast! We are focusing on socialization— ensuring they have a solid foundation to achieve their fullest potential!
This week we will:
✔️Move to individual crate time. They’ve been crating in pairs for the last several days.
✔️Eat solid kibble. No more soft meals!
✔️Take car rides! This reduces risk for long term carsickness.

Australian Labradoodles are our passion— they are such special dogs. I cannot imagine a life without them. This picture was taken last fall during a short after school hike with our son and Brody. Brody stayed right by his side, climbing fallen trees, kicking through piles of leaves, checking out weird insects, and inquisitively watching scampering squirrels. What a precious bond that will become core memories for our son. We are raising amazing family dogs! 🩵

Our GORGEOUS red-headed mom, Leah Jayne, knows how to let her hair down. What a beautiful day on the beach! Her guardian mom shared that Leah showed off her therapy temperament and turned heads wherever she went 🥰 We are so proud!

📣Why River Days? Did you know that River Days Australian Labradoodles contributes to the improvement of the Australian Labradoodle (ALD) even beyond our own program? 🌟That's right—such is our passion for this breed! 🥰
The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) created the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) to research and maintain info on the health issues prevalent in specific breeds, like the ALD (currently the only recognized non-AKC breed).
❣️OFA partnered with breed associations (e.g., ALAA, WALA) to establish a protocol for breed-specific health screenings.
❣️Dogs tested in accordance with that protocol are recognized with a CHIC number and certification.
❣️ALDs who achieve CHIC Certifications have been screened per protocol, and those results are publicly available in the OFA database.
❣️‼️❣️All active River Days breeding dogs over the age of 2 years old are recognized by the OFA with a CHIC number and certification, with a link to their results under their profile pictures on our website (example in pic).
❣️For prospective puppy families, the CHIC program provides accurate information about the results of a breeder’s health testing.

Y’all look what’s coming up! 🤭 🦩🐝 Maggie and Spike 🐝🦩 The adorable tiny couple honeymooned last week! 🐝Puppies are due in late May! 🦩Puppies will be ready to go home in late July! 🌸 At just 18lbs, Maggie has the most AMAZING hip scores with PennHip(.1/.2), and OFA FINALS! She is the daughter of our Salem (retired) & Eno. Maggie is probably the most social/outgoing dog in our program and thinks that everyone showed up just for her! This party-girl also loves to cuddle and walk the neighborhood with her human-mom. 🐝 Spike, weighing in at only 13 lbs, won over the party girl with his stunning good looks, intelligence, and compact little bod! His hip scores with PennHip (.2/.2) are equally impressive! Spike is a snuggle-bug who loves being right by his human-dad’s side. 🌺🌸Maggie & Spike are a teeny and precious duo, and we fully expect to see endearing, sweet and fun babies from these two! 🐾Their puppies are anticipated to mature 11-21 lbs and have apricot and caramel wavy fleece coats, and some with white markings.
