Dr. Beetch got to examine (and love on) Phoebe this morning! She’s almost 11 years old and lives with her 6-month old feline brother, Cartie- who was in for a neuter today!

While this was a short week, it brought one huge change that isn’t visible… and lots of little changes that make a big impact:

1. The heaters were turned on! Our building has officially been temperature conditioned so they can start doing flooring!

2. Ceiling tiles are going in- making a huge difference and giving a feeling of progress!

3. The turf was officially “blessed” with a fresh poo from Dr. Neisius’ dog when she was inside. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

First year KSU veterinary student (and IHAC alum) Olivia scrubbed in to learn from Dr. Beetch in surgery today!

Olivia’s using a few days of her Thanksgiving break to keep learning and gaining experience with our amazing group of veterinarians!

Truckload 1 (of many) cabinets arrived this week! 😍. Bathroom fixtures are also going in!

Hoping to switch the heat on this week to condition the building so flooring can be laid very soon!!

Sunday-ish Snapshot! 🙂

This past week, our massive mound-o-dirt was redistributed all around the property to prepare for landscaping and backfill areas that needed it! And there are multiple small details that are starting to bring the place to life- outside doors painted, sinks going in bathrooms, ceiling lights installed, all the inner doors (with glass) hung, decorative lights hanging beautifully and outside siding almost done!

This morning, Dr. Hiskett and Dr. Neisius volunteered their time at the Kansas Humane Society’s vaccine clinic!

Combined with Dr. Crockett from Skaer Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Jacob from Sedgwick Veterinary Clinic, and several volunteers from multiple organizations, they vaccinated and microchipped 200 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens!

🐾 Celebrating Our Amazing Practice Manager, Randi! 🐾

Today we want to give a huge shoutout to the woman who keeps our clinic running smoother than a freshly groomed Golden Retriever. ‍✨

Randi is the glue (like Gorilla Glue, not that Elmer's stuff), the calm in the storm, and the one who somehow keeps us organized even on the craziest days. From managing employee schedules to supporting our teams, and keeping us laughing when we need it most — she truly does it all.

We’re so grateful for everything Randi does behind the scenes (and in the middle of the chaos!) to make sure our clinic is the best place for pets, clients, and staff.
