🐾❤️ I have a NEW HOME!! I have a NEW HOME 😄👍🐾❤️❤️‼️ I am so excited 🐾 I have two lovely new people to care for me, two lovely new beds, lots of great new toys and a wonderful Boxer home to settle into 😄🐾‼️ I will miss Julie and Doug as we’ve had a great time together, but I will love my new people just as much ❤️ Oh - I also have a new name - ‘Beau’ - I think it suits me! Thanks to everyone who wished me well and shared my story - there are so many great Boxer people out there 🙏👏‼️

RE-HOMED 👍🐾❤️‼️This delightful boy is now ready to find his great new home with experienced Boxer folk 👍🐾❤️ Wo Wo has had a real journey since he came into our care as he just hasn’t experienced much at all in his 5 years - so learning that there are such things as cars, other dogs, lots of people, toys etc has come as a bit of a surprise‼️ He will need time to settle, lots of love and a bit of training. He is a big boy but has lots of love to give ❤️❤️
We have done our best to expose him to life beyond a back garden including the usual vet visit, but he will need baby steps when learning his new life and surroundings. He is not used to cats - would be too excitable for young children, and has enjoyed playing with one of our own Boxer females.

I HAVE A LOVELY NEW HOME ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️‼️I’m feeling sooo much better now 😄👍🐾‼️ I’ve had a visitor and I behaved really well, so Julie and Doug now just have to get me used to getting in and out of the car (I’m just not sure what I’m supposed to do in there but I get way too excited apparently😳)…. Then I will be going to see someone called the vet …. I think they said I need a needle and a snip - whatever they might be 😳‼️ I’m still not sure about other dogs yet - I am going to have a test with one of Julie and Doug’s social butterfly Boxers, so will let you know how that goes👍🐾 I’m not used to cats by the way! I HAVE A LOVELY NEW HOME ❤️❤️❤️❤️‼️🐾Day 1 of my rescue: Julie and Doug picked me up and I went into a car for the first time in years - I wasn’t sure of it at all - I was very scared. They took me to their place where there are other dogs and comfortable beds with blankets - I’m not used to that. I was fed a lovely meal and although I was still very scared, I ate it and after worrying about what was happening, I went to sleep.
Day 2 of my rescue: I slept in my comfortable bed but was still very scared. Other dogs were having a good time with Julie and Doug but I’m not used to such things as playing with toys. I haven’t been with other dogs yet but I’ve been next to them and I like them. I’m still a bit worried about what is happening to me though, apparently I will need a new home in a few weeks. I had two lovely meals today.
Day 3 of my rescue: I’m still a bit scared of Doug, but am friends with Julie now and can walk around the property and have a good time sniffing about. My tail is up and wagging a bit now.
Day 4 of my rescue: I’m feeling a bit better again today - I can walk around with Doug now and I’m not so scared. I even had a bit of a play with him and wagged my tail quite a bit. I’m still eating really well and I think I’m feeling a bit happy now.

Typical bouncy Boxers who make their own fun - so if you’re busy they won’t mind as long as they have each other 😄🐾👍‼️ They are ‘halti’ trained so a few reminder lessons should make them ok to walk in quieter areas. VERY SAD NEWS….. Those of us who run a rescue, and those who take on a rescue dog all know that it can be absolutely wonderful as well as devastatingly heartbreaking. Yesterday brought the very sad news about the lovely Sasha - recently re-homed with Tracey and Alan. She started having seizures overnight and continued to have them - after a very difficult vet consult the awful decision had to be made……. Doug and I are eternally grateful that Sasha had an amazing last few weeks - just over 3 weeks with us then 3 weeks with Tracey and Alan - who are both such loving people to give Sasha the best time of her life 🧡
We send another huge thank you to all of you that have taken on a rescue to love and care for unconditionally.
RIP Sasha ❤️❤️❤️

RE-HOMED 👍🐾😄‼️Hey there 😊🐾 my name is Rufus and she’s Rhoda 👍🐾😄 We are siblings and are looking for a great new home together with a great new Boxer family 🤞❤️🐾 We are 6 years old and as usual with us Boxers, love everybody‼️ We may be a bit too much for small kids but bigger kids will be fine👍 We’re not used to cats, and can be a handful to walk, mainly because Rhoda is a bit dog reactive then I have to look after her to make sure she’s ok ❤️🙃 We are both Halti trained though, so a few reminder sessions plus walking in quiet areas should be ok.
We are very happy together and make our own fun - so not too much babysitting needed - but hey, if we can come in and watch the TV with you then we would be in heaven ❤️‼️

RE-HOMED 😊👍🐾‼️So pleased to report that the lovely Sasha has come through her marathon dental procedure ❤️👍🐾‼️ With over 20 extractions it’s no surprise how groggy and sad she looks in the photo of her on the way home 🥺🙁🐾 She was able to eat a big dish of cooked mince and rice though - amazing that she had an appetite 😳 after all that work! She has since been sleeping it off - a good 12 hours of solid sleep!
Sasha is now hoping for her great new Boxer home - I do have a few interested families so will be talking to those over the weekend🤞🤞
A huge thank you to Kudah Vets in Forrestdale for such a great job and price - they always look after my rescues so well. Also of course thanks to all who donated towards the surgery - it is so much appreciated not only by Sasha but by current and future rescues as well 👍🐾😊❤️‼️RE-HOMED 👍🐾❤️‼️

RE-HOMED!!! This lovely girl is Sasha and she is in need of a loving and experienced Boxer home ❤️💜💛🐾 Sasha is a Golden Oldie of almost 12 years 😊❤️👍‼️ She loves kids, is ok with other dogs, and although she has lived with a cat in the household, she wasn’t very impressed 😬
Sasha will be having extensive dental work next week for which I will be fundraising - I will give the rescue account details here so that any of you that would like to give a little towards this work can do so 🐾
